It took me awhile before I actually saw The Matrix because I thought it looked dumb. But a friend borrowed it to me after I bought it for him for Christmas of 2000 and I actually enjoyed it, I was surprised. I haven't seen The Green Mile and don't want to, no matter how great people say it is. So, my vote is obviously for The Matrix.

I liked GO! a tad more than ELECTION...

I enjoyed GO (I'm not sure what I'd give it, probably an 8/10), but I "loved" ELECTION (10/10). ELECTION gets better and better with each viewing. It is amazingly acted, especially by Reese Witherspoon, who gives one of the best performances of all time in this movie. Not only is it one of the best films of 1999, it's also one of my favorite films of all time. My vote is definitely for ELECTION.

Oh god, this is so unfair. Poor Election up against The Matrix!? My vote definitely goes to the brilliant Election (10/10 or A+), it gets better with each viewing. Although The Insider was my favourite of this year not too long ago, I have recently seen them both again and I have changed my mind. I vote Bringing Out The Dead.

For this match, well, I found The Insider (6/10 or B-) to be extremely overrated. It was actually pretty boring. Bringing Out the Dead (9/10 or A) gripped me the whole way through, so that gets my vote.
