One of my favorites, this Arnold Schwarzenegger vs. Satan flick is an underrated classic (in my opinion). Definately Arnold's best. It's got some gore, great special effects, exciting action scenes, a killer soundtrack, and Arnold at his best. I can't help but love this flick, and I didn't think that it was cheesy or corny at all.

definetly not arnolds best,in fact i was disappointed in this one.i surely wasnt expecting much in the first place, but i surely was wanting more out of it,it just didnt cut it for me....it had its good moments but at other moments just lacked entertainment or thrills, and bored me too much.

Arnie had a great run from the mid-eighties to the early nineties, but the guy's career is running out of steam. End of Days is an okay action flick overall, but I think it's about time he ran for governor.

I though End Of Days was terrific . Arnie was a little more human in it , the gore and fx were very good and Gabriel Byrne was the devil personified .Lots of my friends and family enjoyed it .It's one of Arnies better movies , it's just a shame it did'nt do better at the box office .Maybe he's just had his day.

Definitely not Arnold's best, but an entertaining movie nonetheless, I think he's got a few years left in him, but after a few more movies I say he should give it up.

Great cinematography, but uninspired storyline, some choppy editing.

Cool movie, some good gore, but I've never been a big Arnold fan. He hides his accent a little better in this one though.
Hooray for me.

This was the last really disappointing movie I went to see in the cinema. I'm usually very careful about what I go to see but I allowed myself to be browbeat into going to see this one. Watching Arnie trying to emote during the scene where Gabriel Byrne tortures him mentally with images of his dead wife and daughter were just excruciatingly painful. It was quite stylishly shot I suppose and Byrne managed to raise a smirk a couple of times with his over the top performance. Nothing could save it though. Terrible, terrible movie. 2/5

It was OK. Arnie was great in it though. It was a bit lost in what it wanted to achieve though. Still quite fun and moody.

I loved this movie.Arnold as a sucidal drunk, angry with a god who fucked him over,
was really different for him,and that was a great change of pace.
Robin Tunny always amazes me,Gabriel Bryne did a good job as the Devil. The Late Great
Rod Stieger was also fun to watch.
The Reason I think the movie failed is that Ah-nold's character does not beat everybody down like always.Which I think turned off the Hardcore fans. Not me though.
At least he tried to act,and most of the time
he hits the marks pretty good. The half-baked
plot thats been recycled over 100 times is the only chezze element here.
The scene Where Ah-nold fights the satanists
out in the rain is real cool, and we get to see Arnie stock up on weapons is pure arnold.
This movie was wayyy underlooked by the genearl public. It made 67 million here, but
made like 144 million overseas,so it was not a complete flop.
For everyone who says Ah-nold is washed up,I have 1 thing to say. Terminator 3!
End of days-8/10

I don't know. I didn't hate it, but it wasn't real good, either. I've thought all along that if Arnie had played the devil and Gabriel Byrne the washed up-drunk cop, it could have been better. Just thought the lead roles were reversed. I'ts just a shame that Arnie wants to be the good guy now, always.
