Whats the best time you have had in the theaters watching a horror movie? I remember seeing Jason X and there were like seven other people, everyone cheering and stuff...fun times.

Ya dude,I would say the funnest time I have had at a movie theaters was watching Jason X aswell. It was pretty fun times. The crowed loved the movie and it was just a barrel of monkeys.lol,it was awsome though, they cheered and right before Jason would slice and dice they would all chant out kill, kill, kill and whenever the "ki,ki,ki,ha,ha,ha" or however the hell it goes they would chant that aswell. It was great atmosphere there

Jason X for me as well.

There was this 14 year old kid screaming through out the movie and laughing after jumping up 30 feet in a scary part. There was only about 20 people in the theatre and it kind of turned into a joke. The kid hammed it up screaming Oh noooo and everyone would laugh. It was a blast.

Wow, talk about Jason X!

Unlike you guys, the movie I had the most fun with in a theature was Halloween: Resurretion. Athough the film wasn't as good as the original, I along with the whole audience had fun yelling a the screen everytime Michael killed everyone of. We'd clap and moan, and even scream. It was pretty cool...!

for non horror, star wars special edition was the greatest theater experience i've ever had in a movie. even counting jason x.

I remember seeing Flatliners back in college with some of my buds. We all snuck in beer and got drunk as hell. One of my friends had on a long heavy coat to hide the beer in and it was in the middle of Jfreaking uly. I can remember a long neck being dropped and it clanning all the way as it rolled to the front of the theater.

Sorry, but Halloween: H20 was the MOST FUN EVER for me! It was me and like two theater rows of my friends at a midnight screening, no other people in the movie.

And as you know that movie is jumpy as hell! It was scary and fun...AWESOME time!

"Evil Dead 2." You must realized that up until that point there had never been a movie quite like it. It just hit the ground running and didn't let up for a second. The audience was small, but everyone was just blown away. We couldn't believe what we were seeing, and we couldn't believe it kept its frantic pace with nary a pause. Lotsa fun.

"The Ring" was fun because the entire audience was just terrified. I wasn't, of course :p (okay, I jumped a few times), but I took a lot of sadistic glee in everyone else's terror. :D

Other than that, probably, believe it or not, "April Fool's Day," and for the same reason. There were these two girls behind us, maybe 13 or 14 years old, and this movie was scaring them so bad they were just chattering away: "Oh my god he's gonna die oh my god oh my god! Oh! Don't go in there! Oh my god oh my god oh my g -- AAAAAAAHH!!!"

Listening to them was almost more fun than watching the movie.

Actually after I saw Scream 3 in the movies, I've tried NOT to go see a horror movie at the cinemas. I love watching a horror movie home alone, and then have that feeling that I just might not be home alone after all. Granted, I don't have that feeling a lot anymore but I just can't get into the right mood in a cinema where everyone is screaming to the most pointless scenes...

I'm REALLY gonna show my age here with two movies I saw in theaters.

Poltergeist: It was funny because two girls in front of me would laugh whenever anything scary and/or gory happened (like the face-clawing scene). But when the flick got to a scene showing the tombstones in the nearby cemetery, they were all disgusted and saying "Ewwwww. That's so groooossss."

Spacehunter - Adventures in the Forbidden Zone: YES I actually saw this one in a theater in all its 3D glory. I remember early in the movie there was a scene showing a spaceship floating in an asteroid field. Two late arrivers walked in at that moment and were like "Dude! Touch the asteroids!" And they walked all the way down the aisle trying to touch the 3D asteroids emerging from the screen.

When I was fifteen I went to see Halloween 6 in theaters. It was a Sunday morning showing so there wasn't alot of people there. But some asshole got the bright idead of bringing his five year old son in there. The kid was sobbing and whining the whole movie and when it got to the operating room massacre scene with the strobe lights the kid finally lost it and starting bawling. I loved every second of it. BONER TIME!

Well it was while watching The Blair Witch Project. I was like really into the flick and all, when all of the sudden, in that scene in the campfire when they all first campout for the first night, well these two guys just start dukeing it out right there and then, bash! BAsh! BASH!

And then everyone in the theater stood up and started to scream (as often happens in a school fight) and it all went to hell right there and then.

One of the guys was all bloody in the face, I guess he got hes nose broken. Then when everyone realized they just missed about 15 minutes of the film, the whole theater starts screaming "we want out money back!" but like really loud! It was the closest thing to total anarchy and chaos Id seen in a long time...:D

For me it was Halloween Resurection becaus ethere was this group of people (and they all looked really wierd) so when the movie startedone of them started cheering and then everyone started cheering and then when he saw micheal he screamed so loud i was laughing so hard then his group started cheering after the first kill. It was fun but the most fun uve ever had at a movie would have to be Harry Potter 2 people were just soo great the all laughed at every part bood at scabers and one group of people yelled Happy Birthday Hary.

I had a blast when I went to see Scream 2 back in 97'. It was my favorite horror moment. Scream 3 was fun as well, and so was Jason Goes To Hell when I saw it in 93'. I've had other fun moments but I can't remember them all. New Nightmare was good fun though! I've actually only seen one Freddy movie and one Jason movie at the theater. Jason goes to hell and New Nightmare when I was 11 and 12 years of age. I'm very excited to see Freddy vs Jason because it will be the craziest time ever, and it will mark as my first theater viewing where old school Freddy krueger is present.
