Old Gorezone Magazine

Does anyone remember Fangoria's little brother magazine called Gorezone. It came out in the mid-eighties. I believe the first issue had Leatherface on it from TCM2. It was a great magazine, bloodier pictures, better articles )well I thought anyway. They even had a section for horror fiction in it. Man, I loved that magazine. Wish it was still out.

I loved this magazine. I have just about every issue! It had great articles and reviews and pictures and posters! Too bad it is no more because it ruled! It was way better than Fangoria and Fangoria really sucks anymore lately! I wrote the guy responsible and he said that he missed doing it but it just did not sale too well because many stores refused to carry it! Issue 13 featuring Linnea Quigley with Chainsaw was actually banned in some places according to Linnea herself.

Want to read a great magazine with great in depth reviews of all movies including horror for rent or for buy try Video Watchdog available at most record stores/book chains.:p

I never liked Fangoria that much anyways. Would anyone feel like trading or selling me a copy? Or does anyone know where I could find a copy besides where Parilese said?

Sometimes on Ebay they have issues of Gorezone pretty cheap for auction.:p

The House of Monsters has a bunch of copies of Gore Zone. I saw one that featured David Gale's head on the cover, which featured an article on Bride of Re-Animator.
