Maybe I shoud say rumor I read. I saw on a horror site(can't remember which, I'll try to find it again) that Stephen King's short story "Rainy Season" was made into a movie. Is there any truth to this?
Also, what's the story with Seed(or Son) of Chucky? Is it going to be made, or was the idea scrapped?

How do two dolls conceve a child. a doll child as well.
<sigh>
isn't that one of the signs of the apocalypse or something? Well anyways...
Im not sure about the SK story you're inquiring about, but I do know that asides from the new Dreamcatcher coming out, there is a remake of Salem's Lot in the works, and Desperation.

Should be meaty. Yum.

i'd also like to know that bit about dolls having kids....but with that said wouldnt you have to ask how they talk and have intercourse in the first place?the movie will suck as bride of chucky was the worst in the series....anything that involves jennifer tilly will annoy the fuck out of me.

Actually the story isnt called Rainy Season. Its called Secret Window Secret Garden in the book Four Past Midnight and its being made into a movie starring Johnny Depp. I loved the novella.

I found info on Rainy Season-it's a 15 minute short that was produced for very little-information was on IMDb.I knew several movies were coming, but haven't heard a new Salem's Lot was one of them-quite meaty indeed. As far as Chucky, I don't know how they conceived either, the movie will probably bite, but isn't complaining fun? The reason I asked that was I saw a thing on the net that said Universal decided they don't want it.

Chucky and Tiffany were able to DO IT/reproduce, because, the longer their spirits stayed in the dolls, the more human they would become. This has been an ongoing thing throughout the series. Chucky would try to find a body to transfer his soul in via voodoo. In "Bride of Chucky," it came to a point where they were in the dolls long enough that their "plumbing" was working.

Finally some defense for "Bride of Chucky"! I love this movie and enjoy it so much! It's the ultimate combination of horror and (dare I say?) comedy, as Chucky gets a wife, goes on a road trip, disposes of some annoying characters ("Thank you!") in some really creative and "classic" ways, gets laid (!), and still manages some way funny wisecracks! I was lucky enough to have seen it in the theater, it was one of the coolest theatrical experiences, because it was my first (and last?) time I got to see Chucky on the big screen!
