There have been newspaper claims that she has recently tried to commit suicide, and they've been full of stories about suggested problems in her relationship with husband Jude Law.
Jude has issued a statement through his agent in LA and admits his wife IS getting treatment.
He said she's likely to be in hospital for a few more days but isn't on medication - she's just talking through her problems with doctors.
Sadie, who's 37, had her fourth baby, Rudy, in September who was born five weeks premature.
She and Jude, along with 'Trainspotting' star Ewan McGregor, set up a film and theatre company called Natural Nylon. She also runs a fashion label she co-owns with her mate Jemima French, called Frost French.

Actor Jude Law has denied rumours he is having an affair with Hollywood star Nicole Kidman. He spoke out following reports his marriage to Sadie Frost was in crisis.
She has been suffering from post-natal depression since the birth of couple's third child and has been treated in hospital.

Newspapers reported her problems were due to her husband's close relationship with his co-star Kidman on the set of the movie Cold Mountain.
But he insists there is "absolutely no third party involved" in his marriage.
"My family and I are angry and saddened by the malicious, mean-spirited and absolutely untrue stories that have run in the press over the past two weeks," he said in a statement.
"Other than the fact that my wife has been suffering from post-natal depression - for which she has been receiving treatment - there is not one shred of truth in anything that has been written."
Law said he was talking to his lawyers and would take legal action against anyone spreading gossip.
"There is absolutely no third party involved in our marriage. To suggest otherwise is malicious, hurtful and libellous," he added.
Kidman split from husband Tom Cruise in February 2001
Frost, 37, was admitted to Cromwell Hospital in London last week following the premature birth of the couple's son Rudy.
She has since returned home and Law has flown back from Los Angeles to be with his wife as she recovers.
Frost also has a son from a previous marriage.
The couple hit the headlines in October 2002 when their daughter, two-year-old Iris, swallowed part of an ecstasy tablet that she picked up from the floor of a members club where she was attending a children's party.
Iris was rushed to hospital but was given the all-clear because Frost had been able to retrieve most of the tablet before her daughter swallowed it.
Does anybody have any view on this??? It's all a bit bloody awful IMO...poor bastards!!! I sincerely hope that Jude isn't shagging about!!! JESUS, the poor woman is suffering from post-natal depression, she would be absolutely devastated. The suicide attempt malarkey is particularly worrying, I just hope it's purely rumour. It's understandable mind, I don’t think I’d like to be in her position at the moment. She's at home ALONE...running a successful business, bringing up 4 young CHILDREN, battling depression (a very serious illness), trying to keep herself scrubbed up (she is a good few years older than Law)...all this whilst her EXTREMELY GORGEOUS, talented, successful Hubby is jetting around the globe with the likes of Ms Kidman. I think it'd do me in after a few years...She hasn't seen her man for a good couple of MONTHS apparently!!!
I hope Frost has a swift recovery...and fingers crossed about Jude, if he is "doing" Kidman...I'll LOSE a lot of respect for the pair of them.
