His recent guest appearence on "Alias" reminded me of how much I love this guy. Great actor and seems like a nice guy too.
What are everyone else's opinion of Mr. Hawke? Ever meet him Grebdron?

He does strike me as a fairly decent person. For the most part, stays out of the picture when he's not promoting. Haven't heard anything negative.
I thought he was better than Denzel in Training Day.

I went to school with him. I don't know what he's like now, but back then he'd already been in Explorers and was a year away from doing Dead Poet's Society and he had no ego about it at all. A very nice guy, and smart.

I think he's a very talented fellow.
I recently saw Tape, which reminded me just how glorious he is. Very good in nearly every role I've seen him in, and he seems like a pretty nice guy in person. Although, he does strike me as a bit of a fake Johnny Depp type. A bit more Hollywood in his "tormented" ways, but, that could just be me. Still like him, though.

You can't be married to Uma Thurman and still be tormented.

I love this guy. He is cute, he acts, directs, writes, plays guitar, sings, etc. He is a renaissance man as far as I'm concerned.
I saw a live taping of Regis and Kelly when he was the special guest, and he was wonderful to watch. He is such a big star but he has virtually no ego. He kept rubbing on the inner part of his thigh, which is a very awkward nervous gesture. He was kidding around about how Uma's breasts at the Oscars overshadowed anything else going on.
He can make you cry your eyes out with his innocence in "Dead Poets Society" and then turn around and play a heart throb screw-up in "Reality Bites." He has tremendous range as an actor, and I will definitely keep watching whatever he does.

I like Ethan Hawke.
I first saw him in Great Expectations. Boy, did he impress me? I like almost all his works, he was really good in Training Day and like Grebdron said, he's better than Denzel there!

His step-mother was my fourth grade teacher. I like him. He was good in that episode of Alias also. I want to read his book, but haven't gotten around to picking it up.

I got no problems with him. He's a good actor, and doesn't flash his ego around to get what he wants unlike his peers

He's really good in both small indie flicks and big studio movies, with a certain charming ease to his perfomances. I like him a lot, and he seems like a nice guy in real life too...Thumbs up from me.
