Hi im new. I saw a movie called sleep walkers i was wondering if anyone ever seen it. I thought it was cheesy but it was made by Stephen King. If youve seen it what did you think? :)

I'm a huge fan of Sleepwalkers.. Actually, I kinda have a soft spot for any movie that does that whole ambiguous time thingy...you know, the cars, the music, the mentality of the girl's parents..
LOL, I know its a reallllly minor detail, but I think its really neat.
god, I'm starving..

I thought it wasn't too bad - it was cool to see the army of cats massing outside the house.

I liked it. Decent flick, but I don't think it will EVER grace anybody's top-10 list. It's a fairly original concept.

This is another one of those semi average movies that steven king had something do to with. It's an original concept and the movie is okay, it's better then firestarter or the mangler, but it's just okay. not as much fun as graveyard shift or maximum overdrive or as good as the shawshank redemption or misery. but i do remember being entertained and thats all that matters.
I think I've posted my thoughts in every topic on thsi movie. sad huh?

Loved the idea, like Razorblade and Claw, but was disappointed by the weak characterization (odd for a King-scribed script) and the rather rushed conclusion. I wanted to find out more about the Sleepwalkers.

I saw the movie again last night and was wondering what happened to this thread so I searched for it.... The second time I saw it it was really short and boring.... But I would still recomend it..

I thought it had a perfect blend of horror and comedy. The murders were unique and original (putting it lightly) but that's what I enjoyed about the film.

I think it's a funny movie, it always makes me laugh. Whether that's intentional or not isn't the point really, because I still like it.

Hmmmm.... I think I saw this back in the day... Does the plot involve cats in some way?

yes it does indeed involve cats. I saw this a while back. All I remember is thinking it was crap. Sorry thats all I can say but check it out. To each his own.

Found this to be a basically lukewarm film. The plot itself was interesting if fleshed out -- it wasn't -- and no magic about the movie whatsoever. Nothing special about the acting, deaths, ending, beginning, and what not. And the mother son relationship was so wierd and unusual it soon turned creepy.

I saw this back when I was in H.S. It's more funny than it is scary in some parts though. I'ts worth at least renting just to see the scenes between the cop and his cat.

Fun late night movie. Madchen Amick is always a treat to look at, and I love the part where the black cop is playing with his cat (!) in his patrol car and he says, "Get that motherfucker!" when he's playing with that ball of yarn or something. Cool graveyard scene, with "funny" cameo by Stephen King.

Thought it was all right but it lost so much for idea to script to execution and it never was personified like it had the potential to.
At least it isn't one of those fig bucking TV mini-series that King material has been dabbled in.

I watched the first 5 minutes of it today, but it was too boring. WHats the deal with the dead lady in the closet at the begining?

Hmmm... That's what watching the whole movie is for. ;)

The worst part was the FX used for the mother when she shows her true self at the end. Ah men, that was the worst FX used in a King movie since the "hand of God" at the end of The Stand:p Like others have said, the corncob weaponry was cool, though.

Great, fun cheesy flick with a great, great looking star. The film also includes very funny cameos by Stephen King and Clive Barker. Although the dialog is horrible, I really liked the premise and the acting was pretty decent (if at times over the top) for a movie of this kind. A very good popcorn flick!
