Being a huge slasher/giallo fan I always appreciate to watch a good slasher/giallo and this - one is a very good - one.
It is gory, very stylish ( maybe the director has been influenced by Argento ) very good setting, an okay acting, creepy atmosphere and an ambiguous hero ( he's a prisoner )
It is never boring ( but I have to say I am very very patient,so ) the killer is creepy and scary as hell !!
A must - see slasher !!

I saw this back at Frightfest 2000 (think it was the film's UK premiere), and thought that it wasn't amazing but not awful either. Director Simon Hunter goes for an old style slasher with good use of humour and a memorable nightmare sequence. The atmosphere is good, although the ending is stytled in a rather overenthusiastically romantic way. Lighthouse is not overly original or stand-out brilliant, but its a good, solid horror. *** (out of 5)

Well, its not plagiarism if you steal material from yourself ;) (maybe Tony Blair could learn from that! :p)

I was very suprised at how much I liked this one. So, much so I actually got a hold of it for $5.00. All the murder scenes are cool with the best IMO being the one in the bathroom. There's also a very good ending.
