The first one wasn't even a big success, why greenlight a sequel?

This sequel is probably a sign of the apocolypse.

I will probably see it. I liked the first one and I wouldn't mind a sequal.

Oh, please. The first film wore out its welcome in ten minutes...Dragging that painfully unfunny, one-note joke of a film out for another 90 would be an atrocity.

oh god please let this just be a bullshit rumor....

I thought the first one was hilarious. But I didn't like the new scenes, only the redubbed ones. I don't think a sequel would be nearly as funny, but I would probably still see it.

I thought it was a little joke tacked onto the end of the first...But I seriously am anticipating this flick. Bring on the return of Tonguey!

Because sequels are becoming a fad these days. Anything that shows a little success (earning back its budget) will get a sequel. Yet I think this is a bad idea that may cost a job or two.

The first one did tickle me from time to time, but once I saw it again... pain...
a sequel would suck, the whole joke of the first one was using new dubbing over old stuff. Steve Oedekerk going "mmm, Betty" is only funny for so long.

I'll see it if it's coming out....I thought the first one was a clever idea that was carried out poorly, but I managed to laugh at some of it...

I loved Kung Pow. The first time I saw it I didn't like it all but then a friend of mine rented it and while watching it something just clicked and I fell in love with it. I wouldn't mind a sequel at all.

Oedekerk has said that ideally he would like to make a trilogy, so if you're not looking forward to "Kung Pow 2", I hate to warn you that there might even be a "Kung Pow 3". I figured the other two would go straight to video. Oederkerk has had some success releasing his "Thumb" movies on DVD; if you haven't seen them, check them out, they are hilarious.

The movie made me laugh my ass off for the first 30 minutes, but after that its one-joke premise became tired and repetitive, with one lame gag after another. It would be a bad idea, but since at the end they already promised another sequal, they should just release them straight to video, since the first movie bombed horribly.

The first one was funny for 40 minutes and then it got boring.
A sequel sounds pretty .. huh ?
Still be better than Scary Movie 3 & 4 and 1 & 2

The first one was hilarious, I mean the scene with him and the cow, damn that was funny. I'd like to see another. Can't be worse than Jurassic park 4 or scary movie 3 and 4.

I'm glad their going to make the sequel. Although I admit that the first did have its share of boring parts, and the contining of lame jokes, but I still loved it and laughed my bum off.

I thought this was a sequel. Didn't they call the first one The Kentucky Fried Movie? That was funny - the law of sequels made this one a bag of shite.
The first one was kind of a "funny when you and your friends watch it at 12 midnight" kinda film, so I'll reserve that honor for the sequel as well.
I'd rather see a sequel to FREDDY GOT FINGERED;
FREDDY GOT FINGERED 2:FINGER LICKIN' GOOD....sounds more hopeful than a sequel to Kung Poo...

Yes! Thank you God!
I actually thought the first one was quite funny. It's my shameful guilty pleasure.

What? You didn't like Freddy Got Fingered? Tom Green is a fucking genious, man! I though Kung Pow was ok (7/10), but some of the jokes kinda sucked. It is a good watch-with-buddies flick.
I wasnt poking fun..I'm SERIOUS..I'd rather see a sequel to FGF..It was disturbingly funny to me! ;)
whereas Kung poo was just disturbing to me...

Yep, this is official, it is set as 'Announced' in IMDB, updated March 4.
I know I can't wait, Kung Pow is my favorite parody ever.
