You've probably seen the previews for it....will you pay money to watch yet another Sandler flick though?
It also still isn't rated...I hope this movie gets a strong R...cause every new PG-13 movie that comes out seems to be watered down...

I really want to see this and I too am hoping for an R, I think Sandler is starting to mature in his roles because Anger Management doesn't look like his regular stupid comedy. Sure Eight Crazy Nights isn't mature, but it's Sandler! But Punch-Drunk Love was intelligent and mature. I have high hopes for this movie and my prediction for the movie is four stars.

Ill be seeing this for Nicholson not Sandler, although he does look funny in this, more held back, and Nickelson looks like hes playing the insane one.

Adam's back on track after that horrid 8 Days movie and his pairing with the great Jack Nicholson will definitely be the buzz when it comes out...

I'll se it for Jack. I like Mr. Nicholson when he isn't to dramatic like in About Schimdt. Sandler didn't write the script so it might be kind of funny.

This movie looks pretty good, I think that thanks to Nicholson It will have a good box-office opening.I hope so.
Adam Sandler have done enough stupid comedys like Mr. Deeds(6/10 or C+) and the horrible Little Nicky(4/10 or C-).I have hopes for this one.

Sandler always has an input into writing his movies. They're his movies that he does with his friends. Frequently he collaborates with his NYU roomate and ex-SNL writing partner Tim Herlihy, but a lot of the humor comes directly from Sandler. The only recent movie he really didn't have a hand in writing was "Punch-Drunk Love", he was just hired as an actor for that one. But I read in Entertainment Weekly that when Jack Nicholson was having some reservations about his character, he and Sandler and the director Peter Segal sat down and rewrote the script together so Jack would be happy with it. Jack even ended up getting a writing credit on the finished film.

Of course, like most, I WANT Adam Sandler to make wiser choices, I WANT him to better himself, I WANT him to continue with the momentum from Punch-Drunk Love (oh, wait, I believe Eight Crazy Nights killed any and all GOOD momentum he had going). And when I saw the teaser trailer for Anger Management, which featured a more reserved Sandler (the scene on the plane is hilarious: "Sir, please don't raise your voice." "I'm not raising my voice, what is it with you people?"), I thought that maybe Punch-Drunk Love had, if not totally elevated Sandler's status as an actor, at least brought it up a notch or two. And, hey, with Jack...how wrong can you go?
Well.
Now the full trailer is out, and along with the airplane scene and the Jack-and-Adam bed scene, we have -- how many? 7? 8? -- shots of Sandler growing angry, charging, and tackling a tormenter, a la Every Movie He's Ever Been In. It looks like he will never really rise above being The Waterboy, folks.

Well, at least Sandler is starting to work with more talented people now. He always seems to attract the people that he works with into working on his movies, so people must like him and want to work with him. It started when he did "Airheads" with Steve Buscemi, and then got Buscemi to be in Billy Madison, Big Daddy, and Mr. Deeds. With Mr. Deeds, he added John Turturro to his group of buddies too, and Turturro will be in Anger Management. I guess from working with PTA he got to know Luis Guzman and John C. Reilly, because they are in Anger Management too. Who knows, maybe we might see Philip Seymour Hoffman in Sandler's next movie.
