I have heard that this is an uneven Wes Craven movie but it is definately worth a watch. I have seen worse and I have seen better. It has a good cast and the atmosphere is really the best thing about this movie. I can't really go into detail about the plot cause it has been a few years since I have seen this. Its more of a religious thriller in which the culprits belong to a strict religous community (Amish I think). Michael Berryman plays a good viliian as he did in the 2 Hills Have Eyes Movies. Sharon Stone also has a small part and I think it was her first film. Check this out if you are a fan of Craven.

I would have to say, I thought it was one of his better films. It had a well done story, great direction, tons of atmosphere. He even put in a few nice dreams sequences in it. A lot of the suspense scenes were done in the daylight, it was a nice change. Good cast. Just forget about the final scene and I would say you will enjoy the film.

Yes. An offbeat CRAVEN offering that foreshadows SCREAM in some areas: elaborate stalk sequences (Sharon Stone in the barn, Maren Jensen in the bathtub, Susan Bruckner in the car), unexpected suspects, and a twist ending. Plus, you're never sure who's going to make it. And the answer surprises you.

Out of print, but if you can find it, watch it, buy it, keep it. Not as hip as SCREAM, but better in some ways.
