Bava is very worth watching.
The women are always gorgeous, and he created the concept of Gothic lighting for the giallo genre.
THE WHIP AND THE BODY, of played, is one of his best. BAY OF BLOOD was an influence on F13 series, and you can't go wrong with the atmosphere.
Bava tells stories through colours, and expressions, not exactly dialogue. Bay of Blood is very intiricate, and BLOOD AND BLACK LACE is a supreme giallo.
BAY OF BLOOD is TWITCH OF DEATH NERVE, but under another name.
WAtch them with spagetti and meatballs.

I must get there nowww!!!
ok for the one I've seen in order of preference:
1.Black Sabbath- How the band got their name and the best antology flick ever. "A Drop of Water" is awsome.
2.Kill Baby Kill- Like a drop of water streched into a whole movie. Very cool. I always thought he did his best with ghost stories. An unmade Hammer movie.
3.Twitch of the death nerve- Bava take the giallo and turns it against itself. Good for a couple of scenes. Great for others. His first fortay into gore.
4.Black Sunday- his first. A little dated but still pretty cool.
5.Lisa and the devil- dreamlike, surreal too bad it didn't make any sense. average. Elkie Somner looks great though http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
