What do you think about this director?
He's my favorite one, so I can't say anything bad about him. Here are the rates of his movies (some have been re-rated lately) - the ones I saw and own at home.
Flashdance - 8/10
Nine and A Half Weeks - 10/10 (well, it's in my top10)
Fatal Attraction - 7.8/10
Jacob's Ladder - 8/10
Indecent Proposal - 7/10
Lolita - 9/10
Unfaithful - 9/10
I haven't seen Foxes - just can't find it anywhere over here.
So what are your opinions and rates?

Ah, well...
I sometimes like him, sometimes don't. His style is always the same slick, appealing one, but his stories differ in greatness.
FLASHDANCE was enjoyable despite AND because of all it's flaws: flat character, stupid plot, ridiculous dance sequences and over-reliance on style over content, yet it has enough energy and Beals is charming enough to win one over.
Never understood the success of the dire, pretentious and downright boring NINE 1/2 WEEKS. Some nice, if overdone, yet stylish sex scenes, but nothing more to this designer flick.
FATAL ATTRACTION is a underappreciated thriller with strong performances by the cast and great tension up until the final minutes of shocking and misjudged turns. Slick, scary fun.
JACOB'S LADDER is his flat-out best film, as his intriguing and often overwhelming visuals actually serve the plot rather than the other way around. Enjoyable, clever mindfuck story.
INDECENT PROPOSAL is much slick, but uninvolving ado about nothing (well, except for then-hot, now-not Demi Moore).
LOLITA is underrated and ambitious, yet not completely successful. I liked the visuals, Irons' usually intense performance, Swain's hot-as-hell appearance and even Frank Langella, but it doesn't come together as a whole. Kubrick's version was far better.
UNFAITHFUL is a surprisingly potent and involving remake of the far superior LA FEMME INFIDELE, yet Diane Lane's towering performance makes all the difference. Gere ain't bad either.
Never seen FOXES either...

Here are my ratings:
1) Jacob's Ladder- 9/10
2) Unfaithful- 8/10
3) Lolita- 8/10
4) Fatal Attraction- 7.5/10
5) Indecent Proposal- 7/10
6) Flashdance- 6/10
7) Nine & A Half Weeks- 5/10
I enjoy Adrian Lyne's movies. Even when they aren't that great, they are still enjoyable to watch. I agree with Asokan that Jacob's Ladder is his best movie, and that Nine & A Half Weeks is overhyped and is only worth watching for a few kinky sex scenes. But Mickey Rourke is such a disgusting sleaze and the inferior way he treated Kim Basinger (and how she allowed this) made me want to puke. I almost think that movie would have worked better if it were a straight out porn with absolutely no dialogue.
Overall, Adrian Lyne gets a thumbs up in my book.
