i know this has been done before, but i couldn't find the thread for it. so i made a new one....

what place would you like to work at that is in a movie?

i would love to work at empire records! definately the coolest place and the people are cool and all different and the boss is the shit!

Empire Records, yeah...
Championship Vinyl from High Fidelity (kinda the same sorta thing, but still...)
and the video store Randy works at in Scream (just to be able to sit around and talk to somebody who actually knows anything about movies, as opposed to the posers I work with...)

You'd think I could come up with just one that didn't require me to deal with customers, but I do so love to harass them.
I've got more, but I'll think of them later and quickly yet firmly place the palm of my hand against the center of my forehead, creating a loud sound that can only be described as a 'slap.'

empire records is my number one place, but i would have put the name of the place in high fidelity, but i couldn't remember the name. and the place where randy works in scream reminds me too much of blockbuster. now the video store where the guy works at in clerks is more my choice. i don't know the name of that place either

good choice!

The comic store in True Romance where Clarence works. The Overlook Hotel in The Shining ...well, maybe that's not a good idea. I would have to buy an axe for that job.

I would love to be a roadie on the Feverdog tour bus in Almost Famous.

And I second the choice for Empire Records! I also think working in the shop in Chocolat would be cool, except that I would end up morbidly obese after a few weeks.

Yeah, but I wouldn't be stupid about it like Grand Moff Tarkin was. As soon as I heard that the x-wings were hitting the reactor, my ass would be on the first TIE fighter outta there!

LOL. but wouldnt all the tie fighters be scrambling to meet the x-wings? therefore leaving u stranded and ready to face a fiery death?

Damn. Haven't thought of that. Okay, screw the Death Star...I want to work on the Titanic!

No.

Wait.

I hear bad things about that one too.

Hmmm. This requires more consideration.

Oh yeah, Willy Wonka's factory! How could I have forgotten that one. Okay, I'm adding that one to my list.
And the comic book store in True Romance would be nice also.
