get urself Charlies Angels, which i find to be the ULTIMATE guilty pleasure. Seriously, tho, it has kick ass action, kick ass soundtrack, and 3 (well, 2 1/2) leads that are hot as hell.

...and even then. Signs was like The Blair Witch Projet in that they both scared you shitless the first time, but the second time around, you were all but bored out your mind. Good movies, just not worth owning.

Thanks fot the (funny) replies guys :) I appreciate it.
OK, still haven't bought anything (except for the 'Tenacious D' cd) but I was thinking about 'What Lies Beneath'.. I know the reviews are pretty mixed, but I liked it.. Does anyone have it?
I actually had Charlie's Angels in my hand for awhile.. Maybe I should have just done it..
So many choices, so much confusion:rolleyes:
Any more advice? Anyone?

Yeah, but wait on The Matrix if you don't have it already. No need to get it now when a better edition is just around the bend.
Also:
Memento: Limited
Se7en: Platinum
Godfather Trilogy (don't know if you could find it for $50 though...)
and like stevek46, I'd recommend LOTR: Extended if you're into it.
What did you end up going for, Dietrich?

OK.
I always find it very difficult to choose from all those excellent movies out there.. Although I don't own a lot of DVD's (about 20-25) I have this huge VideoTape collection which needs about 50-75% re-buying on DVD.. To me it came down to this: Or I'm gonna buy myself one big fat expensive DVD with a lot of extra's and stuff, or I'm gonna go with a couple of 'smaller' DVD's..
And that's what I did. For fifty bucks I bought:
~Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
~Wonder Boys
~Starship Troopers
~Charlie's Angels
Good deal huh? :D Me happy now.
Thanks for the replies everyone, I really considered every one of them, THANKS!:)

Tripp: "That's what the ads used to say..."
What a great film. Excellent buy. You made good use of your Euros.

I already have 'Almost Famous', one of my fave's in my tiny collection..
'Your mom kinda freaked me out..' :D
It just occured to me that maybe I do need to buy 'Fargo' on DVD as well to kinda complete Frances McDormand's outstanding performances.. Does anyone have 'Fargo'? Any good extra's on it??
And to Buck Turgidson, the look on Douglas's face when McDormand says: 'The Police found your fingerprints everywhere!'
Douglas: 'Really? That's fast..'
McDormand: 'I'm joking. HELLO!'
Douglas:'Oh, right..' <----THAT LOOK, it's just priceless and always crackes me up..

Not out until the 21st of April though :(
Worth waiting on I'd say! I think the only other DVD release of Fargo was a bare-bones crappy thing.
