About two years ago, a big "inside joke" lead to a dramatic increase in people listing their religion (on UK census forms) as "Jedi Knight". Let's keep in mind... it was just a big joke that thousands of people were in on. This prompted a news article (http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/archive/22113.html) at the time, as well as a recent follow-up article (http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/6/29331.html) on the same subject. It wasn't until just today that I stumbled back to a "reader's write" letter that was written in responce to the original news article.
