28 Days Later on DVD

I think 28 Days Later will be out on DVD in the UK on 28th April! Hoorah!!

I don't think it's been released yet in the UK but this is one hell of a top film - saw it twice at the flicks!

It is rather scarey compared to mose of the standard rubbish you get today. It's quite eerie, particularly with the zombies around.

Anyone not seen it check the trailer out!

It's in the Choices Video free mag!

I thought it wouldn't be out until November but you never know.

I doubt there will be any special features though.

Film Four release rental dvds. This will be an extras free rental only disc. I'd bet on a retail edition (probably with a good selection of extras) for Halloween.

I can't remember where I read it, but apparently they're looking at putting several alternative endings on the DVD, which due to the nature of shooting everything on Digital Video meant that they could afford to experiment and thus record a lot of extra footage.

I would imagine this also means a lot of deleted/unused scenes.

Hopefully we'll also get a commentary, a making-of documentary and whatever else they can lay their hands on to round out what for me was one of the best films of 2002.

It hasnt been released in the States yet. In case you didnt know...28 Days Later is NOT the sequel to the Sandra Bullock romp its a British Zombie movie directed by Danny Boyle, all shot on digital camera.

Apparantly it goes on limited release in the US in 1st AUGUST! It was shown at the Sundance Festival in Jan.

I think they need to seriously need to revamp ugc compared to the birmingham broad st one!

I usually go to the UCI one in my town centre as the seats are wicked. Even sitting through a 90 minute film at our UGC I can't get comfortable...however UGC does charge £2.95 if you go before noon which is sorta worth the discomfort.

Never been to the cinema in B'ham so I can't comment but watching a movie in room on wooden chair is more comfortable than the UGC in Northampton :)
