Taking a cue Spielberg's recent releases, the Catch Me if You Can DVD will most likely be very similar to the other Dreamworks releases: 2 disks, no commentaries (as if nobody noticed that Spielberg doesn't do commentaries, and I respect that decision, since he usually does a nice documentary on it instead), interviews, behind the scenes, featurette on the real life story, featurette on the score, trailers, etc. Of course you can be 100% sure of a nice anamorphic 1.85:1 transfer and above par 5.1 Dolby Digital and DTS soundtracks. And while Spielberg said he cut a good thirty minutes out of it, don't even think about expecting the scenes on the DVD; Spielberg hates deleted scenes for obvious reasons.

I wouldn't say he hates them. Just look at the recent ET re-release

I am guessing this will be a great DVD. I never actually got to see it (went to the theatre with a friend and 2 girls...long story short, they saw it without us).

What I should have said was that he hates releasing deleted scenes on DVDs or anything else for that matter. He probably doesn't want people focusing on what could have been in the movie, but rather what was in the movie.
