I just saw Pearl Harbor a while ago and enjoyed it. not a great movie in my opinion, but entertaining. anyways, i know theres a directors cut of the movie on vista series right? whats the difference of the original and the directors cut? the movie, not the special features.

THe difference? The Director's Cut has more bullshit than the Theatrical version.

Gee, THAT was insightful Klaus...

To answer your question Munkyfeet,

The DC eliminates a few of the "love story aspects" and replaces that time with several VERY GRAPHIC attack sequences, explosions, & maimed bodies.

The director's cut has a lot more gruesome footage of the attacks, such as views of severed arms, excess gore, and a much more graphic view of the death of a captain. It also eliminates two scenes, the one where Evelyn and Danny are in the convertible together talking and one other one I can't remember right now, and adds one scene in the aircraft carrier near the end. It also extends about three scenes, most involving the historical aspect of the film, and adds more language in all the scenes overall.
