Bean 2 & The Lost City: Premiär recently talked with Rowan Atkinson who indicated another movie based on the "Mr. Bean" TV series is on the way: "We do have plans on a new full length feature about Mr. Bean. A script is on its way, and if it's good we'll do it". Meanwhile 'Roarer' has a follow-up about the Andy Garcia-directed film mentioned the other day - "The Lost City is a very good script but isn't going to start shooting anytime soon. Andy is still trying to raise the financing, although the earliest he could put it together is June, more likely November though it all depends upon somebody stepping up with some cash". Thanks to 'Julian'

I don't know how to feel about this news since I never did see the first one, I wasn't sure if it would be good or not, it looked kind of stupid. I guess the news doesn't bother me, but it's no big deal either.

The first BEAN was pretty weak and copied most of the good jokes from the TV show, I can't imagine them making another movie after the lame animated series.

If anyone's seen Rowan Atkinson's comedy series "Blackadder", it's a lot funnier than Mr. Bean. Rowan is a lot better to me when he's doing the sarcastic, putdown style of comedy as Edmund Blackadder than the Chaplinesque slapstick of Mr. Bean. a "Blackadder" movie would be great I think, especially if they could get Richard Curtis and Ben Elton to write it together. They did do a "Blackadder" special recently which brought back most of the cast but it wasn't really that good.

I think that Bean 2 would be funny. I did like the last one. 7/10.

BTW I still think he stole the show in Rat Race :)
