Hollywood beauty Julia Roberts has changed her lifestyle in an attempt to become pregnant. The Mexican star is so desperate to conceive with new husband Danny Moder she has quit drinking and smoking and started a course of fertility treatments. A source says, "She's having fertility treatment and doctors told her she had to cut out cigarettes and alcohol if she wanted it to work. Julia agreed immediately. She and Danny have been trying for a baby the old fashioned way but with no luck. They talked it over and decided to see a fertility specialist to find out what they could do to improve their chances of conceiving. She went to the Cornell Medical Center in New York and is now following doctors' advice to the letting and hoping for it to work."

Is it just me, or what...what is it with Hollywood's top actresses wanting to get knocked up??

Julia, Jen Aniston, J.Lo, Cameron, Gwyneth...every time I pick up a gossip rag, there's some huge article about the latest hot film property trying to take time off to have a kid. It must be cool to be pregnant these days. I'm female, and I've NEVER wanted to be up the duff. Is Julia nuts?? A child's not an accessory, it's a huge time, money and love investment. Sorry to sound so dour, but I just wish these people would think seriously about the life they're bringing into the world.

Maybe I missed something here, but last time I checked, to get pregnant, all a woman needed to do was have a guy come in her at the right time...you know, spermatozoid race, winner gets to make an egg? :D Why do people always have to be so complicated? Julia, Danny...just shag three times a night every night for a month, and I bet you twenty bucks the lady's gonna be pregnant in less time you need to say "let's divorce and ruin the kid's future". ;)

Well, she also has some sort of a blood disorder that could prevent her from becoming pregnant...or so reports stated a few months ago. Good for them for trying to have a baby, but I worry about the stability of that household...

Having a baby isnt bad its even better just look at what happened to Brandy she had a kid, it was mentioned one time in the media then Brandy went bye bye and her terrible music it appeared she was trying to buy attention by having a kid. Maybe we will be spared with another long ass oscar speech if Juliya has a kid, it would be so great if JLO had one too maybe it would shut that bitch's hole!

Wasn't it not too long ago that I read on these boards that Julia Roberts was supposedly afflicted with some disease that would make it dangerous for her to have a child?


There is probably another method she should try in order to conceive, and it'll make all the schmoes happy....... Take time off from film.

She's gotta be 35 years old now, the older you get the harder it is to have kids. So not only should she quit the booze and ciggies, but the stress of filmmaking.

Less stress, better chances.
