"I move the stars for no one....you run so long...you run so far...."

Those scenes in the staircase are preatty spooky for me...I dont know if its the ligthing or the music...but those scenes are spooky yet cool...:D

Anyhows the words "modern day classic" pop to mind for some reason...

everybody loves LABYRINTH, EVERYBODY!

i didn't see this movie until last summer (hangs head in shame) but when i did i was soooo blown away. it was like THE NEVER ENDING STORY but on ACID

my favorite part is the part that leads up to the ball room and the ball room scene. i love the music that plays just after SARAH eats the peach. and the BALLROOM it self is so enchanting. i usually watch the beginning then fast foward to "dance magic dance" and i fast foward to "the ball room" then i just watch it to the end.

i think this flick should of got an OSCAR nom for one of its songs

TIGHT PANTS 4-EVER!

"dance magic dance" *tosses baby* "dance magic dance"

You remind me of the babe
What Babe?
The babe with the power
What power?
The power of voodoo
Who do?
You do
do what?

Remind me of the babe....

I saw my baby crying hard as babe could cry.................

Your eyes can be so cruel....

Just as I can be so cruel...

Yes I do believe in you...

Damn this image I found is incredibly awesome, I just had to post it here for you guys to see. This the scene Id mentioned earlier...the one that looks spooky cause of the way it was lighted and of course cause everythings upside down and sideways, and hell Bowie looks evil. Yet cool.

This in fact is my favorite part of the movie, this and the part where the owls gonna brake through the door and turns into The Goblin King. Oh and the dance. And Dance magic Dance...

Labyrinth blooper I found: In the begining one of the goblin's says that the wish doesn't even begin with "I wish....." however when he says the statement it DOES begin with "I wish." It's right before the baby gets captured.

Another thing I've been thinking about for a few years: when those little creatures pop up (that switch Sarah's lipstick around to confuse her with the way she's going) and they are arguing, it's sounds like one says "ah, your mother is a freaking ardvark!"

P.S. Those goblins in the begining bedroom scene (there are like twenty all bunched up together) always gave me the creeps. When Sarah's pulls that hat down and you see them staring at her, brrr...........

It isn't really a blooper. What the goblin meant was that the first rhyme she spoke didn't begin with "I wish" but the true words did.

She originally said
Goblin King Goblin King
Wherever you may be
Come and Take this Child of mine f
far away from me.
It didn't work because they were not the right words.
Then afterwards she said
I wish the goblins would come and take you away......RIGHT NOW!! That one worked
In other words, the first words she spoke were incorrect. They didn't even start with "I wish" but the true words did.

Wow! Alot of people like this movie. cool :)

Labyrinth has been one of my favorite movies since childhood. I remember when I was young, I cried at the end when Sarah went back home and couldn't have fun with all her friends anymore, and then they all appear in her room.

I own the soundtrack and listen to it frequently. It's just such a great movie.

Harry Potter fan here - lol - and actually alot of Rowlings work is based on other pieces of work (before there was Harry Potter there was the Worst Witch book series). And using the word Hogwarts doesn't make her a bitch...LOL.

But that goblin says "the words don't even start with I wish. Then he goes on to say the command, saying something along the lines of I wish the goblin king would come and take him away right now" then he says "that's not hard, is it?"

So I Wish is how it starts

Hey Cory the dvds got a really good making of featurette, its got a lot of insight as to how they did everything! Youll see how Ludo, the fier gang, hoggle, Ambrocious, the moving rocks, all the goblins, and those flying spears where achieved.

It really kicks ass, if you really wanna know how this flick was made. I specially enjoyed the way they came up with the tunnel of "helping hands", thats some cool stuff. They really put a lot of effort into this flicks and ofcourse it shows on screen.

"What do you mean help? We are helping, were the helping hands!"

And you get to see David Bowie singing in the studio...that was also a treat.
