It's a decent '70s made for television horror flick. Not bad. Decent performances and story. But, there's no gore and it's really not all that scary. I read the book a while back by Lois Duncan.

Saw it a long time ago on late night TV. From what I can remember it wasn't too bad. Looked like a made for TV flick. Wasn't Linda Blair in it?
Linda is in it AND her hair :D
Creepy little made for TV flick, one of Craven's better television works.
Artisan just released the extended "overseas cut" on DVD with Craven commentary and a 5.1 upmix.
Recommended.

The book is always better. No exception in this case. The movie was much better when I first saw it as a young kid in the late 70's on NBC. Rented it recently. Very amateurish, and not scary. Not totally worthless because of Linda Blair's spunk.

I saw it before on television, it wasn't too bad. I like Linda Blair in everything.
