What do you guys think about the upcoming movie starring Colin Farrell playing Alexander The Great? You know that 20 year old Macedonian Conquerer who like conquered everything and defeated the overwhelming Persian Army.

There's actually controversy going on about the movie since one of them is being directed by Baz Luhrmann and one by Oliver Stone, and both are baring the same title. Unfortunately, this movie may be delayed because Farrell just signed on to do another movie, the Jacket. Actually, another controversy may ensue depending on how open minded people are... This movie is going to sort of exploit homo-erotica.

Alexander is of course bisexual and he did have a relationship with one of his friends, a fellow battlemate who was also tutored by Aristotle, so... Do you guys think you would be comfortable enough to watch a movie or even have the movie out in theaters containing gay sexual content? I know I wouldn't mind, but you know how people are, and they think t.A.T.U. (that little singing duo) is a crime!

Anyway, Baz Luhrmann's Alexander The Great will star Leonardo Dicaprio and Nicole Kidman.. But like, who really cares about Dicaprio?

So, would you even feel comfortable enough to watch the movie? And, would your opinions change about Colin Farrell?

cheers!

I'd like to see the Luhrmann version win the race into production. Pretty much what's going to happen is that the one that gets into production first will probably be the only one that's made. The studio that loses the race into production will scratch their version of the film. From what I know they both will feature the bisexual storyline, but that won't bother me. It really happened, so why should anyone complain?
