Final Destination is BEYOND freaky! No cheap thrills, my fave movie along with House On Haunted Hill remake.

Both were really good. I loved the death scenes

I liked FD 1 8/10, but for some reason, I liked FD 2 better 8.5/10.

The death scenes in FD 2 are a bit more gruesome too.

This movie is very entertaining...and definately worth renting, and buying even. I like this one slightly over the 2nd, because it's darker and more tense. I loved the 2nd one (dont get me wrong), but the original was more serious. Go get it!

Upon seeing the airplane sequence, I thought I was in for a twisted mindf**k of a flick. Damn was I wrong. The opening sequence is awesome. Scary as shit, especially if you don't like flying (like me.) but after that, it all goes down hill. It wasn't at all what I had expected. the "Death's design" thing is alright(I guess) but, to me, it came off as another very typical teen slasher flick without the slasher. I know Alot of people like it, but to me, it ranks up there with IKWYDLS 1&2.

FD is definetly a very well above average flick, espicially for it being in the time it was...it helped delete the scream and IKWYDLS esque ripoff cliches.

I have it on VHS and planning to get a DVD, because its one of those films, that don`t get old..... I mean, I`ve like seen it a million times, but its still tense and cool....

FD1 is better than FD2, although both were very entertaining. The death scenes in FD1 are cool, but not as outrageous as in the sequel. Some of them are ones that could be fairly possible. Also Tony Todd isn't in FD1 as much

I thought it was no good. It started out good but fell into the pit of crap. Tony Todd was the only good thing about this pile o crap.

I thought it was original and fun but the sequel made me a happier camper.

I liked it. It was somewhat original and had a good script.
The cover may be generic, but the film isn't. Everyone played their parts well and the directing was solid.

I re-rented this over the weekend. I've been wanting to see it again ever since I saw the sequel. That being said, I didn't like it as much as I remembered. I still think it's a good movie but it moved much slower the second time around. I think the sequel is much better.

Final Destination - 7/10
Final Destination 2 - 9/10
