The Oceans Eleven hunk was having a cigarette on the pavement outside Dan Tana's Italian restaurant in Los Angeles on Sunday, when he saw a sports car jump the curb and hurtle towards a female pedestrian. Plucky Brad then pushed the woman out of the way before the wayward driver plowed into her. The woman said at the scene, "I'm so happy to be alive - and even happier it was you that saved me." However, modest Brad - whose wife Jennifer Aniston saved a stranger from choking last year - just said, "I'm glad to be of service." The driver of the car claimed he took his eyes off the road while searching his glove box. No one was hurt in the incident. "

not to sound like an asshole or anything, but I never really bought into those "stars saving lives" stories. You can go in any town in the world and no one saves anyone's life all day but walk through Hollywood and lo and behold, there's actor's saving all kinds of lives left and right!! First of all, why is it that so many people in Hollywood need their lives saved anyway? It's not like they're in the Amazon or anything!!!

I don't know about the car thing but here's what probably happens a majority of the time when we winess "Stars Saving Lives"...Brad Pitt's as cool as the next guy (actually, probably thrice as cool) but more than likely, he walked by, some dude started coughing and he said "you should look up" and the guy stopped coughing but if Entertainment Tonight and that slobbering jackass Bob Goen get a hold of it, Brad Pitt suddenly pulls the guy from a flaming house while clutching his wife and baby in his teeth... I DON'T BUY IT!!!!
