This Canadian slasher is unfortunately not very known among this forum but like for Next Of Kin ( aka Return To Monclare ) it surely deserves to be more famous.
The film has more in comon with Henry than your usual slashers.
It is more focused on the killer and that's why it is more interesting.
The film is pretty disturbing and a bit unsettling, I mean it is not fun and don't expect any cheese for this slasher.
Michael Ironside is great portraying the killer !! good use of the main setting, too ( an hospital )
7/10

Visiting Hours is a very well made little slasher . It benefits from some top notch actors , in particular Lee Grant and Michael Ironside . You're quite right in stating that there's not much fun to be had in the film . It's pretty serious stuff and is handled in a sombre , unrellenting style without any flashy or over tne top techniques . Good stuff

Visiting Hours is a cool flick. Would make a nice double feature with Hospital Massacre! :)

I rented this a while ago and really wasn`t very impressed with it. To be honest, it put me to sleep!
Cool cover art, though.
