Renee Zellweger or Catherine Zeta-Jones? Battle of the Chicago girls!

Which do you prefer?

I have been in love with Catherine Zeta-Jones for a long time, but after seeing Renee in Chicago, I'm convinced that she's one of the most beautiful and gorgeous women on the planet. Everything about her is absolutely perfect, her blonde hair, small eyes, legs, lips, etc. She's #7 on my "top 10 sexiest ladies list" so my vote goes to her, the future Marilyn Monroe. :D

As a welsh boy, born and raised and only living about 20 miles away from where Catherine lives i felt compelled to support her...BUT, i feel i liked Renee Zellweger's performance in Chicago. Both of them were superb, don't get me wrong, i just feel that it was Renee who shined the most. But damn it was a close call between the two.

Sorry Hannibal, but I thought Renee looked shockingly androgynous in Chicago.

Pasty isn't the word to describe the lady. Her concave chest and veiny limbs actually made me feel queasy...I just didn't think she was looking ANYWHERE near her best. Hmmm, its a real shame to see her looking like a shadow of her former self.

She seriously needs to eat a few pies.

I'm with BCV on this one. I think Renee was looking her worst in this movie. She looked way better in "Bridget Jones' Diary" chunky than she did in this movie looking like a skeleton.

As for the actresses in the movie, I am totally going with Catherine Zeta-Jones. I think she was outstanding in this movie and it irks me that Renee gets all the praise for her performance, when she wasn't all that great.

Renee Z. is so cheesy! I just can't bring myself to like her in anything! Watching her in an interview, or gushing from her Oscar seat makes me dislike her even more.

Definitely Renee Zellweger. Renee has been just fantastic in Bridget Jones's Diary, Jerry Maguire, The Whole Wide World and more, not to mention her awesome performance in Chicago. Catherine Zeta-Jones can be very good, but for every Traffic or Chicago there's at least one or two Entrapment's or The Haunting's.

As for their Chicago performances, I think Renee was a tad better, but both were fantastic. (Even though I'm rooting for two other ladies about Renee in the Best Actress field, and Catherine-Zeta Jones first in the Best Supporting Actress field.)

Both are sexy and quite desirable as bedmates, and both have quality work on screen somewhere.

On the other side of the ledger, CZ-J is mean as a snake and is waging the most open campaign this side of Harvey (Vote For My Movies Or I'll Kill Ya) Weinstein for an Oscar. And after recent appearances and interviews, I'm seriously starting to wonder if Renee has brain damage.

I'm going with Renee Zellweger. My reason being that when I first heard she was cast in the film, I never thought she would be able to pull-off a role like this. After watching the film, not only did she pull-off the role, but she just blew me away. For this, she gets my vote.

I'm not sure as to whether to lean more towards Catherine or Renee.
I think in the film, Renee was a bit too thin, i think maybe Catherine had it over her this time.
Yes, that is my conclusion. Looks-wise, i preferred Catherine.

I cannot stand Catherine Zeta Jones. She seems to screw up every movie, got lucky with Chicago though. Shes ugly, and a not so great actress, not terrible, but not the uh better.

Renee Zellwegger is a fine actress. Has the looks, and has the talent. Great Job in Chicago.

I pick Zeta-Jones. I may have thought the movie was decent, but overrated, Jones surprised me with her talent and overall Hell-bitch performance. I wasn't a big fan of that short hair look though, the little boy look.

Meanwhile, I think Zelwegger gave one of the most overrated performances of the year, even more than Richard Gere. Sure, she can sing, but she basically walked around aimlessly during the dance scenes, and looked nasty in the skimpy dresses they made her wear. They were trying to make her look sexy, when in turn she ended up anorexic and barebones. They tried to praise her boobs, but they resembled two waterballoons that were taped onto her chest that weren't quite full yet. She also wasn't that impressive in her non-singing scenes, coming off as a bigger bitch than Jones. Jones at least was an amusing bitch, Zelwegger was just a plain bitch. I still think if Gwenyth Paltrow could've matched Zelwegger's singing talent, she would've been a better cast addition

In general, I prefer the lovely and ever-so-talented Miss Zellweger to the reasonable but unspectacular Zeta Jones. In this particular film, however, I am compelled to choose Catherine. She was mean, tough, raunchy, gorgeous and a knock-out musically and dancing.

Zellweger was great as well, but she needs to wear fewer plunging necklines in movies...but proportionally she should accentuate her hips and legs, as opposed to her barebones shoulders and fairly small chest.

Renee, Renee, and Renee. Don't get me wrong, Catherine Zeta-Jones is bodacious and welcome in my bed anytime (and she was great in "Chicago"), but Renee is my hands-down winner here. Besides the fact she's the superior actress (my feeling, she's given four Oscar-worthy performances pre-"Chicago"), she hit a sexy new high and was a seductive pleasure all the way. I have to hold back the droll just looking at the posters for "Down With Love." Ms. Zellweger, you are my muse. ;)

I voted for Catherine, ecause I thought she gave the better performance in the movie. However, I think Renee's usually the prettier one but Catherine looked much sexier in this film.

As for their acting, I can't really tell because I haven't seen either of them in many other movies.

Renee Zellweger was better in the movie, but not as hot as Catherine. But I never thought Renee would be able to do all the things she did in this movie so well and she did it with amazing style and compassion, so she gets my vote. Catherine was excellent as well, but I was disappointed at her lack of screen-time.
