Morgana, I am sorry to say that it takes me at least 5 attempts before reading any one of your posts as I am eternally distracted by your avatar.
Hell, it took me five attempts just to write this post.
Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing yet.

There are alot I have yet to see so the only one I can think of is:
Casablanca
There are a couple of others that I don't know count because even though they are old they were in color when I saw them. I'm talking about Roman Holiday and The King and I. I would put those up as well if they count. I admire Citizen Kane but find it difficult to love and I thought Psycho was good but not great. I think Psycho suffers from a boring and dull first act. I never Marion Krane to be an interesting character. It wasn't until Norman Bates entered the movie when I started getting involved. It's funny because the Gus Van Sant remake has the exact opposite problem. It starts off great with Anne Hache being a major improvement over the dull Janet Leigh in my opinion. I know I may be the only one who thinks that but that is how I feel. The rest of the cast was good but with one glaring exception. Unfortunately the one glaring exception is the MOST important character in the movie, Vince Vaughn as Bates. Vaughn is horribly miscast. To be fair for him, I don't think any actor could have done it justice. I mean after seeing Perkins in one of the greatest performances of all time, if the not greatest, noone could have done it justice. But Vaughn is all wrong for the part. Anyway, I'm getting way off topic here I was just trying to say that put the beginning of the remake with the rest of the original then we would have had a great movie. But as it is I think Psycho is one of the most overrated movies of all time simply because it is not the masterpiece everyone else say it is.
