Charlize and Ricci... "Lez" make a flick....

I picked up this months NYLON mag, featuring a great article/interview with the lovely and very talented Christina Ricci.

It made for some good reading, as Ms. Ricci comes across as very down to earth, and extremely cool about her "stardom". There's also some very seductive pics of the smoldering Christina... including one in a VERY see through striped shirt. Yumm.

I've had a sweet spot for her ever since her turn alongside my dream babe ~ Thora Birch ~ in NOW AND THEN. Her subsequent roles have been diverse, and tasty... my fave being BUFFALO 66.

Now, rather than recant the blurb regarding Ricci's nudity, and an upcoming lesbian romp with Charlize Theron, I'll just type out the paragraph, verbatim:

Anyway, as TIT-ilating (pun definitely intended) as all this news is, a question begs to be asked...

Can Theron handle this challenging role as Wuomos? I'm not a great fan/follower of her work, so... hmmmm. There's no denying Charlize's impressive physical attributes, but, does she have the chops to convince as the frumpy, homely psycho?

Regardless, MONSTER sounds like a very delicious proposition... and it's number one on my "must see" list... even though nary a fucking second has been filmed....

This is interesting. I'm not that attracted to either girl, but I'm not the type of guy to boycott a movie featuring girl-on-girl action, especially from 2 well-known actresses such as that duo

I think Christina Ricci is only ok looking but she's got a nice body and Charlize Theron is one of the sexiest people on the planet. In that way I guess it's kind of like Mulholland Drive. That had girl on girl action with one girl being mega hot (Naomi Watts) and the other being just ok (Laura Elena Harring). And Bound one girl hot (Gina Gershon) and the other just ok (Jennifer Tilly). Actually atleast Tilly has a GREAT body but she also has an incredibly annoying voice.

Anyway this has just jumped to my #1 most highly anticipated movies. Forget the Matrix sequals or if it's not cuming out until next year then it's #1 for 2004. I hope it's coming out this year though. Does any one when it starts filming and when it's going to come out?

It is being filmed right now in Orlando, Florida and will be released later this year.

I am going to Orlando in a couple of weeks, maybe I'll catch a glimpse of the set.

I saw a pic of Charlize Theron on Entertainment Weekly magizine and I'm not so sure I am excited about this movie anymore. I never thought they could make her ugly but some how they've accomplished that.

As happy as I am that Christina Ricci is going to be doing a nude scene, I kind of wish that she had done nudity in a movie before deciding to lose all the weight that she did. If she had done nudity back when she looked like she did in "Buffalo 66" or "The Opposite of Sex", it would have been genuinely exciting. But surely I'm not the only one who saw her on "Ally McBeal" last year and got depressed at how thin she had gotten. The most recent pictures I've seen of her seem to indicate that she might be putting some of the weight back on again, and I can only applaud her for doing that. I was a little worried that she seemed to have fallen prey to the Hollywood propensity of actresses to get skinnier and skinnier. We don't need another Calista Flockhart, Christina, us red blooded males would prefer to have you back looking like your voluptuous, curvy self.
