View Full Version : Need help with an old movie

I saw this one back in the 70's so I have little to go on. It might not even be a horror movie, but here goes. It's b&w and involves a woman, possibly a gypsy woman, that can change into a cat. I also remember a dwarf and I think he could change into a lizard(looked like an iguana?). I have no clue on the plot, but I seem to remember the woman being captured and beheaded at the end. They showed the basket shake as her head fell in. I know it's not much, but any help would be appreciated as my childhood memory has faded on me.

Wow. that movie sounds amazing, I'd love to see it. It really sounds like my kind of movie, fucked up and stupid. so does anyone know what it is, i'd love to see it.

It reminds me of The Incredible Shrinking Woman but I don't think thats the movie you're looking for. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

Hmmm... I don't remember a beheading, although I haven't seen it for a while, but Vampire Circus (1972) had a circus of gypsies (including a midget) visiting a town, and the guy could turn into a panther thing (or a cat, if you will). I'm sure there was also another transformation, bu I can't remember what.

On second thoughts, it probably isn't that, but it's a fucking sweet film anyway. Check it out.

The midget faintly makes me think of Oliver Stone's SEIZURE with Herve Villecheze & Martine Beswick....but that's probably not it.... http://www.joblo.com/ubb/tongue.gif

Man, I think the movie might be THE UNDEAD, a 1957 Roger Corman movie. Sounds like it. It was a classic MST3K episode. I'm almost positive that's it.
