Almost every movie has a bad guy, and sometimes we find ourselves loving the villian more than the "hero", at least I personally do. The question I pose is: Who do you think is the single best screen villian? Of course, I can't put them ALL on, but I will put on the ones that come to mind. Please vote.

Is this topic going more towards villians in the Fantasy genre? Because every movie up there except Apacolypse Now could be considered fantasy. If not, I'd have to say that my favorite villian of all time (at least at the moment :D) is Hans Gruber from Die Hard.

Other.
It's a toss up between the T1000 or the T800.

Why is Volemont on there? He's not that memorable, and the space could've been used for Bill the Butcher, who gets my vote, closely behind Darth Vader
Voldemort's on there because dh's top two films of all time are HP1 and HP2.
Anyhoo, I think the best villains would have to be ones from hitchcock's movies, especially Robert Walker's Bruno in Strangers on a Train, or Joseph Cotten as Charlie in Shadow of a Doubt.
And let's not forget those dastardly Nazis in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
