A couple weeks ago when I separating my DVD's by genre (I had some free time all right?!) I had no idea what genre this would be since it had so much of everything. Maybe horror/sci-fi/comedy/musical/porno?!? what do you think?

Yeah, it doesn't really fall into one category. If I were in your position, I'd create a cult section in my DVD library. Even if Rocky Horror is the only film in that section, at least it has a home!

This film now is held special in my eyes ever since I performed in a stage version of the show this past June. It was the most fun I ever had in my life and it gave me the chance to be someone TOTALLY different.

Did you play Dr. Frank 'n Furter ?!!? That would have been awesome.

I just saw the film this past summer and I now totally love it. I can quote every line of dialogue, sing every song and have seen it more times than I can count. This is a movie you can never forget.

Oh just give yourself over to absolute pleasure...

Anywho, as crazy as it sounds, this boy actually played a girl...I played the great Columbia!!! And boy was it fun. We totally reinvented the show for the modern age and my Columbia was...well different from Little Nell's Columbia. I was a cruel woman who is best described with a word beginning in "b" and ending in "itch".

this movie is insane, but i enjoy it, i dont really like muscails unless they have muppets, but i like this, because its so off the wall (and tim curry is #1) cult films are so great because there werid, like repo man and killer klowns from outer space, god bless cult movies.

Would the blues brothers count? That's a good musical? does it count?

While Rocky Horror is not everones cup of tea,it takes its place as the biggest Cult Classic around.I think its been on Tv this year about 20 times.Tim Curry will always be remembered as Frank 'n Furter.I did't like it the 1st time I saw it(long ago)But after going to the midnite show ,I have but one thing to say: Whatta Blast!!

Actually there is one other transexual musical movie out there. Hedwig and the angry inch. Which I think is just as good as Rocky horror.
