ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATOES

Is this flick worth tracking down? It seems to be in line with my b-movie tastes.

It has been years since I have seen AOTKT. This movie is stupid, but so stupid I liked it. It is a spoof movie, kind of like Top Secret though not nearly as good. If you get a chance to watch it go for it, but if you have to spend a lot of time to track it down don’t waste your time. I liked the second one with George Clooney more then the first, but I was 14 when I last watched the Killer Tomato movies.

one thing DO NOT EXPECT A HORROR MOVIE, expect a parody of every b movie ever made and you'll like it. just dont go in expecting it to be a serious horror movie. expect the comedy, thats what it is, not horror. sorry, just some people seem to expect a serious movie out of it. thats when you get disappointed. expect cheese and camp and its great.

i love it, i would love a dvd of it. i did pick up return of the killer tomatoes. havent seen it yet though.

I would say definitely not. I saw it last winter and I thought it was very dull and unenjoyable, and not fun to sit through at all. I know some people like it. I paid $1.50 to rent it, and unless you can find it cheap for rent its not worth it. I think its interesting how there were a few more of these films, but only the first one is classified as horror (the label doesn't fit though really), the rest being scifi/comedy. Reminds me of the Class Of Nuke 'Em High series which is the same way.

I say go with RETURN OF THE KILLER TOMATOES. I saw both of them, but this one is much better. There are movies that are so bad they're funny, and movies that go even beyond that. ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATOES is OK, but it's almost too much. The sequel is hilarious though. I haven't seen any of the others (KILLER TOMATOES EAT PARIS, etc.)

RETURN is a great spoof, with John Astin as Gangrene again, but more cheesy PUBERTY LOVE moments.

I used to watch the cartoon all the time, but they don't show it anymore, I would like to check out the "Killer Tomatoe" movies, look like good cheesy fun, I must say I hate George Clooney though, although I haven't seen him in Dusk Till Dawn 1, every time I see him two words come into my mind...Batman & Robin http://www.joblo.com/ubb/eek.gif, by the way are these movies actually horror?, any blood (ketchup) or nudity like all great b-moies should have, also, how old are they?

Hello, Living_Dead_Dude, to the sideshow of maladjusted horror fans.

No nudity in most KILLERTOMATO movies, but we do have Tara the buxom babewho loves plant fertilizer, and hates music.
They aren't really horror, but an affectionate spoofon horror.
Oh, theres ALMOST nudity in RETURN, when "BIG BREATED GIRLS GOTO THE BEACH AND TAKE THEIR TOPS OFF".

Yes, there are four Killer Tomatoes movies.
1- Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
2- Return of the Killer Tomatoes (this on is the best)
3- The Killer Tomatoes Strike Back
4- The Killer Tomatoes Eat France

If you are able to enjoy movies like Top Secret, The Naked Gun, Hot Shots, etc… then you should be able to enjoy the Killer Tomatoes.
