I hate to break it to you, but I doubt it will stop dropping anytime soon. It's going to cross 100 Million, which is the main thing. I'd say it might make it to about 110 Million by the end of its run, and I'm sure that will be enough to make a sequel. If I remember correctly, they're already planning on making one.

I'm probably the only one thinking this but....I am glad that Gods and Generals is still making money. Considering the length, and bad feedback from many people.

I am surprised Cradle 2 the Grave is doing as good as it is. Also good to see Chicago making the big bucks.

Pretty bad numbers, IMO. I can't believe how fast "Daredevil" is dropping, while people continue to shell out money for garbage like "Gods & Generals" and "Cradle 2 The Grave". This is almost as bad as "Die Another Day" outgrossing "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" one weekend. I pray DD shoots back up!

::sigh:: Believe it or not, Chamber of Secrets wasn't much better than Die Another Day. The sad thing here is that Daredevil is much better than Cradle 2 the Grave.

It's nice to see THE HOURS come back into the top 10. It usually does end up making an appearance in the top 10 during the week.

Yeah that'll steal the "urban crowd", and "Tears Of The Sun" will steal action fans. Meaning: Buh-Bye DMX! MuHaHaHaHa! ;)

I just knew BRINGING DOWN THE HOUSE would be big. The numbers don't surprise me, because I totally felt anything was possible with this one. I knew it would be big, but how big was the question. Well, now it was answered ;).

I'm glad Bringing Down the house is doing so well, i expected it. I didn't expect Tears... to do so well though, i didn't even see a single trailer for it(although i haven't seen much tv lately), i predicted like an 8 million opening and now it looks like it's getting a 15+ million opening, very good if you ask me.

Damn! What a surprise... "Bringing Down the House" did much better than I expected it to. My prediction for it's 3-day weekend gross was nowhere near $31.7 million.

Sorry, but there's no way the actuals will be THAT far off. It should still make at least 30 Million for the weekend. I just find this so funny. I bet all of the people that said there's no way it would ever make that much are shitting now :). I knew it was a possibility with this one. It had lots of advertising and the interest was definitely there. I don't know a single person that said that they didn't want to see it.

I can't stop smiling right now! I really hate to say I told you so to some of the people that said it would never make that much, but I told you so ;). Sorry, I just couldn't help myself.

Anyway, here's my Lee's Movie Info predictions for TEARS OF THE SUN:

Friday - 5.1 Million
Saturday - 7.1 Million
Sunday - 4.9 Million

Total - 17.1 Million

My total wasn't far off, too bad my dailies had to be too far off :(. I won't win again, but oh well.

Wanna bet? Fox's 3-day estimate for Attack of the Clones was $8 million off. $1.8m isn't such a stretch.

That's different though, since it was over a holiday weekend, and the estimates for holiday weekends are usually off more.

Plus, IMO, Fox had a reason to overestimate the opening of "Star Wars: Episode II- Attack of the Clones". Their numbers, which were way over the final number, would give them a bigger opening than "Spider-Man", even if Spidey had a 3-day opening weekend and Clones had a 4-day weekend. This may be speculation, and Fox would NEVER admit to it, but I believe it has a chance of being the truth.

Actually, even with the "wrong" initial estimates given by Fox, AotC still would've lagged far behind Spider-Man in its opening weekend gross.
