View Full Version : Has it ever really happened?

I was just wondering today has anything like a slasher movie ever really happened? I'm not talking about Ted Bundy or Dahmer or Gacy or anyone like that, I mean has it ever happened that a killer would target a group of friends at collage or even in the woods or at camp etc and start killing them off until only one or two are left and manage to find out who it is and kill them or even have the killer sent to jail? Was the killer a member of the group or just a random stranger. I don't know why I start this topic, I guess I'm just curious to see if anything close to a slasher movie has ever really happened in real life?

It probably has, but I haven't heard of it anywhere.
Although it's not really like the story your thinking of, a horrormovie-like thing happened not long ago in Holland. Two teens were making love in the wood, when they found a cut of child hand. Later, a cut of child head was found in the see.

The only thing I've ever heard of that happened like that is, about fifteen years ago near where I live, there was this kid who was like twelve years old. He walked over the his neighbors house with a hockey mask on and a small hatchet. An elderly couple lived there and when the old woman came to answer the door he killed her. The old man was sleeping on the couch and the kid killed him too. When they arrested the kid and searched his house, they found two rented movies and both of them were FT13th movies, but they wouldn't say which ones they were. True story man. :D

It wouldn't surprise me. There are some pretty sick people out there, and it really isn't so hard to imagine some nut preying on a bunch of isolated young people. If anyone on this board happens to go through such a situation and survives, I expect him/her to write highly detailed posts about the experience.

I agree. Espescially since it happened only about fifty miles from where I lived at the time. The paper never did say what happened to the kid.
