I heard that this movie was really creepy. Based on atmoshpere, and not on gore type of a horror movie. Well I gave it a rent, but...wtf happened? Why did Gordon, I think was his name, go insane and kill everybody? Did this have to do with the girl with the multiple personalities? Thanks if you can help! The movie was good, just I'm a little lost:)

I'm really surprised how many people were confused by this movie. I thought it was incredibly straight foreward. Anyway, don't read ahead if you haven't seen it yet. Spoilers a plenty....

lGordon didn't exactly go crazy. He had been possessed by the same thing the girl with multiple personalities was possessed by from the first time it talked to him. This spirit/demon/thing, probably a former patient of the mental hospital seems to attack mostly when it needs to defend itself (Gordon's wife spilled the hot water on him). Anyway, I think that's everything. It was a pretty good movie, though. I heard that they are trying to tear that hospital down and there's a petition to stop it. Go on the IMDB, look up the movie and check the posts there for more information. Hope I helped.

Yeah when Gordon is first touring the asylum in the beginning, remember when he`s staring at that weird lobotomy chair, and a voice says "Hello, Gordon". That is Simon, a spirirt that possessed the girl on the tapes. It manifested itself as one of her multiple personalites.

"Session 9" is a move that you almost HAVE to watch twice to catch everything. I highly suggest you watch the movie again, you`ll like it more and you`ll notice stuff that you didn`t the first time.
