View Full Version : Electrocution scene in Faces of Death real or fake?

I know most of the scenes on FOD are fake and staged, but I think this scene is real. What do you think? What kind of white shit was that comming out of his eyes? How about the black guy who was gased?

They're fake. On the DVD there is an interview with the guy who made it and he mentions that it is illegal to film an actual death and that these scenes were 'simulated'.

Yeah. Faces of Death is all fake. The hype about whether it is real or not is what helps it sell. End of story. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

I dispise these types of movies as they only end up giving horror a bad name

The only real thing in FOD are the newsreel footage scenes, the things you see on the news. An excellent way to tell if the scene is fake or not if you have some trouble figuring it out is watch the angles, if its multiple angles its fake....Who has time to do fancy camera work while taping a live death?

What about the guy who parachuted into a crocodile pit ..LOL

Was that real?
The footage looked rough and realistic and it looked like there was a real body in there getting torn up.

Any thoughts?

The guy getting assasinated was real and so was the animal killings except for the monkey.

I say they're all fake on FOD. Some may look real, but I don't see how they'd ever be able to legally release something like that to the public. :D

Has anyone seen Traces of Death? There is some serious sick stuff on there. Also, That music that they play while showing the footage is creepy. I had seen Traces of Death once before and while is was really disturbing, I got through it fine. I brought it over to watch with some friends and before we watched it, we uh "partied." I finally popped the tape in. I didn't make it through the first 15min. I was light-headed, felt so sick, and that music had me so paranoid that I left the room untill it was over. Everytime I see that boxcover in the video store I feel like passing out.

There are some real films along these lines (Executions, most of the traces of death) but about 95% of the FOD series is faked

i have traces. its 100% real stuff faces is mostly fake.
