All those who have seen Van Wilder say "I" . . . All those who enjoyed Van Wilder say "I" . . . *crickets chirp* . . . lol

'Tis true. I did watch this flick and although the story was weak, the acting forced (Tara, Two words: ACTING CLASSES!!!) and the ending predictable I must give "props" to Ryan Reynolds who effortlessly carried the "film" (and I use this term very, very loosely) on his shoulders. You may recognize Reynolds from the (now defunk) sitcom "Two Guys, A Girl and A Pizza Place" as Berg, the womanizing, sweet-talking "player." (A HUGE departure from the womanizing, sweet-talking, BIG-HEARTED "player" Van Wilder. lol)

Anywho . . . back to the topic. I wondered fellow schmoes what you think of the actor? Is he "the coolest f*cking dude alive?" lol Is he so-so? Do you even know who Ryan Reynolds is? (see above) Speak to me schmoes, speak to me . . .

Well with this LOVELY pic of Ryan Reynolds (In case fellow schomes still ponder WHo The Hell Is That?!?!)
Well for me, I first saw Ryan on The ABC Comedy Show (Is It Still Goin?) 2 Guys & A Girl.... Then he played a small part in Dick w/ Kirsten Dunst & Van Wilder was not a great movie but had a lot of scences I couldnt help cracking up on. And Ryan also has the upcoming remake of The In-Laws. He definately knows his schtick so a Yay from me!

He gets a yay from me, barely. I liked him in 2 Guys and a Girl, haven't seen his other work. He really has potential, but he'll need a great comedy or drama to really rise above it

Funny, I'd have to say Mr. Reynolds could use some acting classes himself. ;)

He doesn't exactly have a quality resume, but he is cute, so Yay! (Could I possibly be more deep? ;)

Yay! for me as well. I liked Van Wilder (7/10) and 2 Guys and a Girl and the main reason was because of Ryan Reynolds. He just has an energy to him that is very hard to dislike and has a Jason Lee like quality to him that makes him impossible to dislike. Gotta love those Canadian kids! :D

Nay. He's never once struck me as funny at all. Sarcasm alone does not equal funny.

thats not true at all. most of the funniest people i know use sarcasm alone. sarcasm may be the lowest form of wit, but its also the most fun to use and it also probably the funniest.

sarcasm does equal funny. trust me. it really does. i should know, i win sarcasm awards all the time :D

I like him a lot. He is so fucking hilarious. He certainly does save Van Wilder. His performance was great.

Gotta say nay. I just don't see his talent coming through. He is good looking, but that doesn't make up for his lackluster performances.

From what i've seen him in he's good enough and funny. But i've heard rumours that he's up for the role of Deadpool in the upcoming movie. If you ask me, that's the perfect casting choice.

I've only seen his work in Van Wilder.

If I were to consider his earlier work, I would give him a Nay, because he was trying WAY too hard to channel Jim Carrey/Jason Lee with his comedy bits.

He was borderline in Blade 3

but he really improved in Amityville. If he improves this much for his next film, he's definitely on the right track.

So a Yay from me, because he seems like a nice guy, and he's interested in doing comic book films, which I enjoy. (Flash, Sub-Mariner).

Nay, if talent = looks. This guy would look like me.
Don't get me wrong he's a terribly handsome fellow, all I am saying is I won't rush to the theater to see one of his movies.

Saw BLADE TRINITY. Saw no point, but enjoyed his one liners. He still has a long way to go. Again, looks are all fine and good, but a little talent and substance would help.
