View Full Version : "I Kissed A Girl" by Jill Sobule!
After hearing this song in the trailer for Kissing Jessica Stein several times, I finally decided to download it. I've heard this song before, but it never really caught my attention until hearing it in the Kissing Jessica Stein trailers. Anyway, I'm really glad I downloaded it because I LOVE IT! I haven't been able to stop playing it. As soon as it's over I play it again. I've probably listened to it in between 20-30 times since I downloaded it tonight.
What does everyone else think of it?
First Kissing Jessica Stein, then TATU (or do i have it backwards?), now this? Mike, i think you have a problem.

Jill Sobule's "I Kissed A Girl" indeed was a big hit for her when it came out at the time. All I remember that this guy was in the music video...

BTW, nothing wrong w/ Mike's musical taste. Just that I like this group that came out in the early 90's and only came out w/ 2 albums. The first one was good, "Woman To Woman" Fem 2 Fem.

I can't help it if some of the best movies and catchiest songs have to be lesbian related ;). Hey, I dig it, and I don't care what anyone else says. And thanks for sticking up for me Border!

I did, but I was disappointed with it. I thought it would be GREAT because I loved the plot, but the movie just wasn't as funny as it could have been. It was still a decent flick though. I'd give it a 6/10 (C+).
Anyway, wait a minute, are you guys trying to tell me that this song is lesbian related? ;)

Getting back to the song -- I remember this, I think I had it on a compilation tape from like 95 or something, its been in the car tape deck fairly consistantly when it gets around. Very innocent, sweet and, despite the lesbian cliche, sexy.

I really hope you like it, and if you like good movies, you should ;). You'll definitely have to let me know what you thought of it.

Haha, I think it would be hard to be as obsessed with it as I am, so it's a good thing you included the word almost ;)!
By the way, do you think it would be weird if I were to get a KJS T-shirt, hat, mug, etc...!?
