Finally saw Judgment at Nuremberg...

Finally, a film I can get excited about! It's been quite a while. I think everyone should see this, it's incredible. Very socially important, very smart script, great acting by a virtual all-star cast, and one scene that's shocking even today. I haven't seen the remake yet (I will sometime next week), but this original 1961 version is something everyone should see.

By remake are you referring to the TV-miniseries "Nuremberg"? It's pretty good, but not as impressive as the black-and-white original you rightly praise here. Gotta see it again!

Yep, that's what I'm referring to. From reading descriptions though, it doesn't sound as much a remake as a telling of a different trial? Anyone have any info on it?
