Metallica's new album

okay we all know it's been years since we've heard Metallica, and of course we all know their new album 'St. Evil' is due out in a couple of months, but who thinks it's gonna be good?

do you think Metallica is on their big come back, or just another embarassment to put them deeper in a hole?

I, for one, don't think they've been in a hole. I'm looking forward to St. Evil, and hope that it will be as good or better than Load. Load, contrary to popular opinion, is a kick ass album.

I still like Load and Reload but I really,really, really hope that St. Anger is better and I think it just may be.

as normal i am just going to agree with greb. cause hes right. :)

load were both albums i really enjoy, its just different and you have to adjust yourself a little.

st evil has me waiting for it :)

FYI the new title is "St. Anger."
As for my thoughts. I anticipate it with hope and fear. I hope it will sound like their thrash days, and I fear it will be a Rereload. Them touring with Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Mudvayne and the Deftones bothers me, yet has some good in it. The bad is that I won't be seeing them live because of the price and the actrs precceeding them. Yet it could also get a bunch of nu-metallers into the older and better stuff.
I'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I only really like two Metallica songs and they are " Enter Sandman" and " The Unforgiven(1)" so not really a big fan but i may check out their new album for the hell of it.
