Snuff! what you think about it.

I just saw a spanish movie called Thesis, and i though it was genius, go check it out when you can. And i just want to talk about Snuff and what you people think about it. Why are there so many fans of it? Why has it become so popular? I have my theories but i'm not ready to give them away 'cause i'm not sure.

Part of Snuff movies are Romance, Cannibal Holocaust, The Art of Dying, Sex and Videotape.

Other movies that may be considered snuff are Thesis, 8mm, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

PS. i can't really define snuff in a sentence so if someone that knows can do that for me plz do so.

those movies arent snuff.. Holocaust, I guess, could sortakinda fall under that category (cause of the animal slaughtering), but the rest are actual studio films..

Snuff is killing on film for the purpose of entertainment.. there has NEVER been proof of a snuff film, to my knowledge.. I highly doubt one has ever existed, or been circulated

Texas Chainsaw Massacre is not a snuff film doesn't show real killings. Haven't seen the other films you mentioned. I don't think snuff films exists in the western world because they know it won't sell which is the primary purpose of making it. So what's the purpose. Also, it's too risky for them.

Okay, i think i'm getting it. I though snuff movies where films that if there was a death scene they would really kill someone or show really dead animals(not fake ones). And i though there where other kind of Snuff movies in which if there was a sex scene than there was gonna be real sex, real blowjobs, real everything, kinda like Caligula and Romance that where theatrically released.

I do think snuff movies exist unlike you Romeo&Juliet, i have a friend of mine that likes that shit and he has a movie in which stuff like this is shown: it shows how a guy gets beaten to death, and how a mexican family gets shot in the head one by one, and how some people comit suicide throwing themselves out of buildings and such. Isn't that snuff, i mean, they aren't 'commercially available' in the open but they do exist in a clandestine way, and yes, it is illegal.

As legend has it (;)) half of the allure of these films is that they're presented in raw manner, depicting violent death, murder, hardcore rape. this isin't simply "caught on tape" stuff, which can be found everywhere.. this is a bunch of sickos who make and distribute movies where they pick people apart!
