I LOVE H20! In my opinion its the best sequel. Some people say that Kevin Williamson screwed it up with the SCREAM format but I think it gave justice to the Laurie and Michael showdown! I loved it when Laurie was stalking Michael! It was good times.

Yeah h20 is my fave after the first. The final showdown with Michael and Laurie makes up for ANYTHING in the movie that sucked cuz the scenes with those two are sooooo great.

H20 was the end...until a better sequel.

H20 sucked, because it was just bad. its another unneeded sequel. this series should have ended at part 3. yeah part 3

Next to the original, H20 is definately the best. I've seen every Halloween at the theater in it's original release and H20 was the only time I actually felt like the real Michael was back and was scared again. The direction was dead on, the plot was cool, I like everything about this movie. I do like parts 4 and 5 and the producers cut of 6 is ok, but they never felt like Halloween movies, just slasher films that were better than most. The whole cult thing was so stupid and embarassing I am glad they just did away with it. I think Season of the Witch is far better than anything in parts 4 through 6.

H20 didn't suck completely but it wasn't very good either. Halloween 4 will always be my favorite sequel followed by Halloween 2. I didn't like 5, 6, 7, or 8 so the Halloween series ends at 4 with me.

I don't think that H20 had the same feel as the original at all. The original was dark, creepy, and atmospheric. H20 had none of that. The original didn't need to rely on "boo" scares to frighten people as H20 seemed to. Parts 2 and 4, IMO, are the only two Halloween movies to recapture some of the creepy atmosphere that made me love the original.

H20 isn't the worst sequel, but it's definately no where near being the best.

I actually really like H20.

It was so perfect, 20 years later, and you get Jamie Lee throughout the whole film, rather than just a small cameo.

I thought it was a decent storyline, and it had good actors like Adam Arkin and Josh Hartnett.

I like Part 1, 2 and H20 the best out of the whole series.

In no way was it as scary as the first two, but it had a couple of decent scares, and Laurie finally gets to whack Michael's head off! ( * or so we thought.....)

It didn't have the atmosphere of a Halloween films, felt too much like Scream with the ''Hip'' Dialogue and repetitive, pointless, boo scares.

Honestly, I only enjoyed the final segment of the film. In which JLC stalks after and clashes with Michael, It was a fitting end to the series and a pretty good showdown, The rest was folderol imo.

H20 was a really lousy film all the way around until the scene where JLC sees Michael for the first time in 20 years through that round window on the door. From there on it was classic...until the end where she steals tha ambulance and we all know where it goes from there. Of course...that's just my opinion.

I likeed Halloween H2O. I think Steve Miner did a great job with the script. This movie had alot of classis momments. I liked it when Michael sneeks up behind Laurie while in mid air....very cool. Personal I Think they should have ended the series with this one but Halloween 8 wasn't that bad IMO.

I feel it should'ev ended with this sequal. It had a perfect ending to Michael. But then they had to create H8(Wich I love) and make it even better. But it should'ev ended wtih H20.

Peace

I thought Halloween: H20 was the best sequel in the series since Halloween 4, I also enjoyed H20 more than Resurrection too. I consider Halloween, Halloween 2, Halloween 4, and Halloween: H20 the true installments in the series, 3 was something, and in 5, the Curse of Michael Myers, and Resurrection the Shape acts more like Jason than Michael Myers imo.

It sucks because :

1. The weak cast ( Dawson type of cast )
2. Not very violent except the dumbwaiter - scene which reminds me Argento )
3. Really too smooth cinematography
4. Annoying characters
5. Jamie Lee Curtis was under - employed, not near the end of course.

Halloween is a classic ,it's as simple as that. No sequels were needed but money dictates otherwise .
Halloween 2 was a big dissapointment to those of us who saw the original in it's first week of release .It's not scary and the mask is crap .The film has , however grown on me through the years and I quite like it now .All the other direct sequels have been awful if compared to the first but on their own merits they've been enjoyable fare .
H20 , I thought was a pretty good movie and easily the best sequel to date ( I have'nt seen the latest )

The acting for this film was pretty good. Also, tension did rise between Michael and Laurie towards the end of the film giving H20 a grand finale(even though Resurrection cheated it).

Horrible, horrible HALLOWEEN film. I've said it before, say it again...they SCREAMed it. Kids who look like they're from WB shows, LL Cool J, who had no business at all being in a HALLOWEEN movie does nothing except open a gate. Michael kills like 5 people in boring ways (boring, extremely obvious ways)...

The only thing I liked about this movie was the axe JLC uses when she hunts Michael down. That was a nice axe.

Dude I can`t believe you`re complaining about LL Cool J after seeing Busta Rymes as a wacky cartoon-character in "H8".

Okay, Elgyn...you got me. Busta Rhymes was worse. BUT, as I've said elsewhere on these boards, I deny these movies any right to exist. THE ONLY exception I will make is to say that H20 DID officially kill the series for me.

...(Single tear rolls down my hideously deformed face) (sigh)...I don't think I will ever enjoy a new HALLOWEEN movie, EVER...even if there was a way to bring back Pleasence. Strong words, I know...but, I'm scarred for life. *Damn "twenty years later."*

For the most part, it's another watered-down Scream clone. Jamie Lee is its saving grace, and one wishes she had much better material to work with. Michael isn't even that scary anymore. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/frown.gif

They should've never made 3,4,5 or 6 and went straight to H20. Gotta admit that would've kicked major ass if they hadn't made a Halloween in 20 years and then made H2O. That would've ruled. But no....

Ive been a fan of the series my whole life and I LOVED H20. But yes, I didn't appreciate the ignoring of H4-6 but I think of them just neglecting to mention it, and I don't like the SCREAM vibe it has. But it's Michael vs. Laurie and that's all that counts!

I liked H20 for it boldly bringing Jaime Lee
Curtis back to Halloween. We got to go inside her head and see what she feels after 20 years. Most victims of Violent crime do not
just go on like nothing ever happened, and i like how it showed.

I think H20 was a good way to end the series, but now we have the piece of trash known as ressurection!

For me H20 sucked because Laurie was back. I wanted that bitch dead. Also I hated the cast. Pretty much everyone hear with the exception of MICHAEL annoyed me. Also the pace seemed a little too slow for me. Overall I didn't like it but it was still better than Resurrection. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

I actually wished that they had continued with the Thorn storyline. Instead they cooked up a plan where Laurie was never really dead to begin with. Maybe its just me but I think if Laurie wasn't dead Michael would have known. Like he could just sense it or something. Kind of like how he was able to track her down before. It's like he could feel her presence. Anyone else agree? Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

i really dug H20. overall it was one of the better sequels. i do wish they had made it fit better with the rest of the series. lie laurie should have said something like: "he killed my daughter but hes not gonna get u" to hartnett just to mention jaimie's existence. i wouldnt mind thorn being tied into H20 and H8 by a later flick but it has to be done right and make sense. its a kewl angle but it got too confusing by 6. also we need new druids.
