I'm not a big fan of jazz music, but the music in this movie was just GREAT and went perfectly with the film. Very FUN and CATCHY! I would have bought the soundtrack already, but I've heard it's missing some of the best songs from the movie.

I especially loved the songs "Manhattan" by Ella Fitzgerald and "When The Special Girlfriend" by Ute Lemper. I love the part in the movie where the song "Manhattan" gets stuck on "girl." That was very funny and clever. I also really like "I Kissed A Girl" by Jill Sobule, which was in the trailer, but not the movie. I've downloaded all three of these and have been listening to them non-stop.

I may just break down and buy the soundtrack anyway and see for myself whether it's good or not. I just hate it when soundtracks don't include some of the best songs from the movie though, ones that are "key" songs.

Have any of you guys bought the soundtrack? What do you think of it? Or if you haven't bought the soundtrack, what did you think of the music in the movie?

Here's a list of the songs from the movie (although they aren't all on the soundtrack):
