Most Surprising Survivors?

i was wondering if yous could tell me whom yous all think the most surprising survivors in a horror film were?certainly there have been some surprising ones out there just as there are un surprising.....

hmm odd,escapade,i found all them to be the most unsuprising,but we all have different opinions.

I heard a story, not sure if its true or bullshit, where LL Cool J only signs contracts if he is guaranteed that his character doesn't die. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

Originally LL was supposed to get eaten with Saffron Burrows surviving with Thomas Jane; but at test screenings people hated that (don't blame them), so they changed the ending. I guess for DBS living wasn't in his contract :)

I would actualy prefere to live for one sequal,then die in the second. Or I could also be the lead,but then die at the end. Tha would be kick ass. But no matter what,I would have to die at least once

That funny Mexican dude survived and I was not expecting that.
Basically, of the residential group I think only Carlton from Fresh Prince died. But what's suprising is that the characters aren't just disposable fodder. They're a bit more fleshed out.

I'm going to throw in on LL Cool J from Deep Blue Sea as well... (talk about expecting him to go down every other scene).

Another one that kind of struck me is that almost EVERYONE survives Lake Placid. Nobody major dies... is this the sign of a one-dimensional movie, or is it just that they didn't want to follow the cliche of having somebody important die...

do u know? i prayed for that death for a long long long time. it didnt happen. most surprisingly, considering the character really got on my tits. the ones who get on my tits always snuff it. but not this time damnit :(

I'd say the guy's wife from Pet Semetary... Even when I frist read the novel, (Spoiler...), I was suprised that she killed him in the end, evil wins over good...hmmm... I guess she survived, even though she was an undead zombie type of thing...
