Ok, this is officially my 2000th post and my first time doing a tournament in this thread so hopefully, it will not suck. Anyways, all of the actors in this tournament have been around in the golden age of classic Hollywood and they will still live in out hearts today, they define the word "legend", they are the classics. All you have to do is vote for which one you like better.

Chaplin's movies are more consistently better, but I like Buster's antics a bit more...so I vote for Buster Keaton.

I second that... Chaplin is great (especially in City Lights). But I have yet to see a movie which is funnier than The General and that's why the quirky Buster Keaton gets my vote.

I just watched The Great Dictator (9/10) the other day, and I highly recommend it to anyone here who hasn't seen it.
I vote for Charlie Chaplin, and I would have even before The Great Dictator. Better comedian, better filmmaker.

I absolutely adore them both. I'm a huge fan of silent comedy, and they were the masters.
I think I'll vote for Charlie Chaplin though, because his movies had more heart. But the decision was not easy, Keaton was a genius.

I just saw The Defiant Ones and Tony Curtis was just great in it, but Jack Lemmon is the superior actor. He's one of my favorites, too.

I wish more people would vote for this one because come on, it's Bogie and Jimmy! :D As much as I loooooooooovvvvvveeeeeeee Jimmy Stewart, I have to give my vote to the best actor of all time and my favorite actor of all time HUMPHREY BOGART! No actor is flawless like Bogie, no one brings such depth into their characters like Bogie. All of his performances are BEYOND oscars, you wouldn't even think he was acting. This is one actor that is my idol and I would never let anyone diss him.
