The AC/DC thread

With the band re-releasing their albums digitally remastered and getting a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, I decided to dedicate a thread to these guys.

AC/DC is one of my favorite classic/hard rock artists. Angus and Malcom Young make a great guitar duo. Bon Scott had a cool voice and Brian Johnson, who though isn't as good, filled his shoes well.
I prefer the Bon Scott era music because it seemed a little more heartfelt and real. The Johnson music is good, but it seems to be more about good ol' rock n roll.
Highway to Hell and Back in Black are their definitve albums and the others are pretty good, (except Stiff Upper Lip).

Now lets discuss this classic band.

Defiantely one of my all time favorites. I too preferred the Bon Scott stuff to Brian Johnson, but it's all good. I think Highway to Hell would be my favorite Bon Scott album awesome songs include the title track, Girls Got Rhythm, Walk all over You, and Night Prowler (I really dig that last one).

I think my favorite of the Johnson era has to be The Razor's Edge. I can jam to all the songs on this album, my favorites being Thunderstruck and Mistress for Christmas.

I actually liked Brian Johnson more. I like more of his songs more( back in black, hells bells, you shook me all night long). I think he had a better voice then Bon but Bon was still great and Highway to Hell was a classic. Both are great men but Brain Johnson is just better to me, but Bon was a great person( from what i seen on that Behind the music special). AC/DC rules!!!!

ACDC fucking RULE~!!!

For those of you who're fans, but never bothered to buy their soundtrack to Maximum Overdrive(called Who Made Who), because of all the repeats, I'd strongly urge you go get it for the track Ride On... This is one of the last tracks that Bon recorded with the band and its a fucking GREAT 12bar blues song.

These guys are just fucking badddass. Highway to hell is my favorite album.. I'm allllll about Baby Want Blood.....

AC/DC is definitely one of my Top 5 favorite bands of all time. I love Bon Scott, but I prefer Brian Johnson. "Back in Black" and "Shook me All Night Long" are my two favorite AC/DC tunes of all time. "Highway to Hell" and "Big Balls" are my favorite Bon Scott tunes. AC/DC greatly deserved their induction into the Rock -N- Roll Hall of Fame. This band will be remembered a hundred years from now. :D
