I will be comparing which one to get April 22nd. She's doin this e-mail thing where u can receive the song for a small fee for the first single "American Life" . I am still debating. And hopefully its gonna be better versus "Music"

Not terriby happy with the inclusion of Die Another Day. If they were gonna include it they should have stuck it at the end as one of those hidden tracks after twenty minutes of silence (and they should have followed it with an apology). Even if the album is a cracker i'm gonna have to edit that track out. I really, really didn't like it.

Its being released a Day After My birthday, On Hitlers Birthday, The Oklahoma City Bombing Aniversary, World Trade Center was attacked back in 91 on that day, The Waco texas standoff and Elian Gonzalaz was taken back to cuba. weird huh. I say after the album is released she should appologize to the masses for making swept away and be publicly stoned followed by another stoning.

Well this album is supposed a "make up" album for the Swept Away movie she did. The movie was not that horrid. I just HATED the damn ending! Anyway, when I FINALLY saw the cover art for her album I just said, "WTF?!?!?!"....And all the intresting timeline stories that happened on that day just amazed me. Madonna is always ever changing but is this for the better for her career?

I'm not sure quite what to expect from this album. I do like a lot of Madonna's work (and yes she's a bad actress but Body Of Evidence would be far less fun to watch if she were good in it).

The inclusion of Die Another Day also worries me, I really hope it isn't an indication of the overall style of the album. I think I'll wait to hear the first couple of singles before buying this one.

Well i like Madonna, always have. I'm going to listen to a few of the songs off the album before buying it though.

Her older stuff is better, but I do enjoy a lot of her newer stuff. DAD was a bad concept song...

OK got mines!!! I opted on the limited edition of Madonna. The difference from just the regular album is that u got a poster which she does spelling poses but the real neat extra...lol was the Madonna stamps. AND Nooooo I have no plans of using them at the moment :D As for Madonnas music content. If u grew up w/ her music back w/ Holiday & Boderline, American Life is likeable. This time she kinda strays away for the dance that made her popular w/ Ray of Light and a slight improvement contentwise other than the singles that came off of the album Music.

I picked it up today. I'm just starting my second listen.

First impressions: When it's good it's really good but it goes off the rails from time to time. I'll listen to it a few more times then post a longer review.
